Oh my God lol. Yesterday I dreamt about me searching the toy stores for the minifigs and arguing with the employees because they wouldn't let me open the boxes

I have Sebastian and Flouder on the way, thanks peeps. What other Disney minifigures are there aside from in this set? I know there are a bunch of Toy Story ones, but I figure I will wait until the next movie and buy those. They will probably have more detail like this Buzz, but have the head I want. Also Jack Sparrow I guess?

Disney related Lego lines included:

Mickey Mouse from the early 2000's/late 1990's era (Fabuland style figures if I recall it right)

Cars (not actually minifigures though...)

Toy Story

Pirates of the Caribbean

The Lone Ranger

Recent Star Wars sets

Marvel Superheroes

Disney Princesses (minidoll range)

Cool thanks. Star Wars and Marvel are acquired properties, so I wasn't counting them. And Cars and Princesses don't really fit the minifigure "look", unless they have mini pieces like Flounder. I was looking at that Beast head, though. I can probably ignore Lone Ranger (I think we all should lol). Pirates and Toy Story it is!

The irony is The Lone Ranger theme had some really great sets and minifigures (I own almost half the theme so I speak from experience)... It just was a horrid movie to be attached to

Just a little question I thought of today .. anyone know if there's a 'globe' piece that would go in the end of Maleficent's staff instead of the jewel piece she came with ? ^_^

Depending on if you want her staff to appear gold or green, you could use a microphone. I think it's not too long to fit inside the spyglass part, but could be wrong.

I picked up the whole set, I did not read all the pages in this thread, but interesting that they are pairs of two (Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy, Buzz and Alien, etc) with the exception of Stitch and Maleficent. Anyone who has been following this thread know why that is? I did go back and see the wish lists for series 2, some good stuff, I would like Merlin and Archimedes from Sword in the Stone and Kim Possible and either Ron or Shego from that tv show. So many possibilities for future minifigures in this line.

Got my Flounder and Sebastian today! Also , Target got a restock and I was able to finish the set. Such a great set! Anyone know if Mr. Incredible's hair piece was used elsewhere? It's pretty much my hair, lol, so I may want another for a selfmini.

Nope.

It's a new hairpiece

Scored all 16 I wanted, no duplicates! Now I can finally mess around with them.

I can definitely relate to that!

Nice combos, especially Genie with sailor hat! Could you maybe share a picture of how the head looks on a hairpiece with peg hole?

At first I was worried that Ursala's hair would be a lot less useful due to the grey on the sides, but I've tried it on a whole lot of different headpieces and I can say that it doesn't bother me on yellow skins and it even helps to blend in better with grey and metallic heads. :classic: It is also perfectly unisex, another great thing about it!

I have put Syndrome's hair to use already, quite like the result:

Ok, thanks! At least he is 4 per case, so shouldn't be too hard to get another, but I will probably wait for a bit.

I was starting to respond to a post but hit reply before I was done with it, and decided after quoting the other post but not saying anything new to change it, hence "no message" or "never mind".

Disney didn't simply acquire the singular property of Star Wars; it acquired its entire parent company, Lucasfilm Ltd., just as it previously acquired Marvel and Pixar (which itself used to be part of Lucasfilm). Lucasfilm's other properties include Indiana Jones, which itself is now therefore a Disney property and one that has had a LEGO theme, albeit one produced in its entirety to date prior to Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm; it can be considered a retroactive Disney LEGO theme (and one likely to return with actual Disney branding, when the franchise itself returns in 2019).

There are actually quite a great many LEGO sets and themes based on Disney properties and productions, especially once one includes things that didn't start out with Disney but were acquired by them. The earlier Pixar things are a special case - all Pixar's feature films since the original Toy Story have been distributed by Disney, but Disney didn't actually own Pixar until years later. If one excludes properties Disney acquired after they made their debut, as with Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the Marvel universe, one might therefore consider also excluding both Toy Story (which had a full-blown theme in 2010, including both DUPLO and "System" sets, as well as the two minifigures in this series) and The Incredibles (which, unlike Toy Story, is presently represented in LEGO only by the two minifigures in this series), as both franchises debuted prior to Disney's acquisition of Pixar. However, Cars (and its non-Pixar-made spinoff Planes), WALL•E, and Brave, which have all also had official LEGO products, were all released post-acquisition. Then again, none of LEGO's products from those three (counting Cars and Planes together as one) have had figures of the sort officially classified by LEGO as minifigures, so they might be beyond the scope of this anyway.

In addition to the minifigure themes mentioned by xboxtravis7992, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is another minifigure-based LEGO theme based on a Disney movie (though the original Prince of Persia video game franchise on which the film is based is not a Disney property, the film itself is).

Yeah I forgot Prince of Persia.

I don't know if I count Indy yet although I hope Disney revives the theme with a new movie.

Toy Story 3 was definitely a Disney release post acquisition of Pixar and that's what inspired most of the sets. Although yes to be technical Toy Story and Toy Story 2 where at the time only distributed by Disney.
