LEGODalekbuster523 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 A car would not work as a minifigure. Unless you want it to have legs, arms, and a head, it's not likely to happen. This isn't a "Characters" series, it's a "Minifigure" series. I've already explained how it could work: Maggie-style with two parts to it, just no arms, legs or head. Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 It's extremely unlikely and a ridiculous idea to make a car into a minifigure. It's pretty much guaranteed that everyone will be a regular humanoid minifigure, and animals will be accessories. Quote

As Blondie-Wan said, this is the Minfigures theme A car is not a minifigure. It could be accessory, but that's it Edited October 3, 2015 by Robert8 Quote

x105Black Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I really don't understand how you could do a silly Cars character as a minifigure. Quote
Huigberts Builds Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I see what you're saying now - no arms, legs, or head! Here, I found a nice picture of what that could look like: I would definitely buy that :p Back to the minifigures now, I actually would love to see Remy as a accessory with linguine, they could make a hairpiece were you can put a hat on and if you remove the hat you can put Remy there, just like in the movie. Still I don't really think a character like that will work for series 1 yet. They have to do the more popular characters first. For pixar that would be woody and buzz, but since we already have this figures we might not get them again. With that said I think sully and mike are having a good chance to be done. Still I'm not really sure we will actually see any Pixar figures in this series. Disney mostly keep them apart. But we will see. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Okay. Can it be agreed finally that a Cars character will not be included in a minifigures series as it is a car and not a humanoid figure. If it was LEGO Characters: Disney then yes, as Wikkeze and Figure Pods include them. But LEGO wants a car to be a playable car, not a solid figure. End of discussion please. Quote

Not sure who'd want Linguini and a tiny Remy as opposed to a Remy minifigure. Sidenote: shame we can't have any creative speculation in here (not a dig at you). 8BrickMario Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) I think this series will respect scale a little bit. To me, a Remy accessory makes more sense than a minifigure, since it would look more accurate. Animal characters, unless they're totally anthropomorphic like Mickey and co., will not be minifigures. Jiminy Cricket's more likely as a full figure, but he'd also make sense as an accessory to Pinocchio. Edited October 4, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote

If they release it, I think Jiminy Cricket will be a minifigure as well His umbrella and top hat will be hard to incorporate in microfigure scale --- I hope you're wrong about Pinocchio. I know he is really iconic, but I'd like better a non-licensed Pinocchio in a regular CMF series Quote
Tygurah Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Well, there's always a tiny chance for non-anthropomorphic animals, right? Right? I want to get Scar so badly Quote
Robert8 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I want to get Scar so badly Scar? I wouldn't count on it Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 If this theme of the CMFs does well enough, there will likely be some sets afterward. But Lion King characters are very unlikely to ever be made, due to the limited poseablility of animal characters, and the fact that minifigures are expected from sets. Quote
Tygurah Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Scar? I wouldn't count on it Eh, even if we don't get him in the series, there might be some sets like there were for Simpsons. The Lion King is their most famous traditionally animated movie, so I guess there's always a chance. Quote
Tygurah Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Hey, how about Zootopia? Maybe not in the first series, but second..sure! I'd love to get Nick. Quote
kevkipo Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Maybe not in the first series, but second..sure! I'd love to get Nick. Me too, i really like the look of him. besides Zootopia comes out in March already, so it would be a good promotion. Quote
Huigberts Builds Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Hey, how about Zootopia? Lol, I haven't even heared of that movie before :p. It has a possibility to happen, but I won't count on it yet, it might be to soon, I actually think they will do the older characters first. I noticed Nick looks a lot like Robin Hood, I actually see him done earlier then Nick. However, as you said in a later post, he might be made for promotional reasons and I can actually see such a thing happen. Quote
just2good Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 Maybe I'm looking too much into this, but Minfigure Price Guide received this Woody prototype from a source recently. Is it possible this came from a production for the Disney Minifigures Series? Quote
Robert8 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) Can't believe they are releasing him again Really LEGO? Edited October 5, 2015 by Robert8 Quote

Is it possible this came from a production for the Disney Minifigures Series? I hope we get him again. I never had the chance to get the toy story line. This may be disappointing for some that already have it but I'm sure you are happy to get toy story minifigures again. Quote
Robert8 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Do they need a prototype for this minifigure, though? They already made him Quote
Ultron Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Well the only Woody I own is the garbage variant so I guess I wouldn't totally be against a regular one again. But we all know this means Buzz is coming too if Woody is indeed in the series. Quote
