Uhhh....Mickey Mouse?

I did add the clause "most". Of course Mickey is more iconic... but I'd argue that in the main Disney canon (not including certain recent acquisitions) that she and Mickey are more iconic than any other ones listed. (Except maybe Cinderella). I mean... who is the one that flies the sparkle of light over the Disney castle in the beginning of every Disney film? Is it Ariel? Is it Bambie?... :look:

also she has far more fame among little girls than almost any other Disney character of which I am aware. Trust me. My sister was just in her Tink phase maybe 4 years ago. We still have fairy stuff all over the attic. But she wouldn't let me buy her Elves sets. No, she's "too old" for that. :ugh:

I maintain that Tink and Mickey are Disney's biggest icons.

This said I've never been to Disneyland or even Florida (or Cali) for that matter, and cannot attest to being a Disney expert (as evinced my my numerous gaffes already). :classic:

Maleficent was the villain in Sleeping Beauty, not Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I couldn't let that pass without comment.

Sure but they are pretty similar...

I can't wait for some leaks on this subject, so much speculation, we'll have long picked all the best characters by the time the series comes out at this rate!

Sleeping Beauty is the name of the movie, the character's name is Aurora. Why do people not remember this? She is already in Disney Princesses, so I doubt we'll see Maleficent.

If we get Peter Pan, which is still speculation based on the anticipation of a store employee, Tinkerbell could very well be a microfigure with him.

I am hoping TLG does the same thing for Disney that they did for the Simpsons; an attendant set with exclusive figures. It would be really funny if they gave us a Disney parade float.

Now that I do know, and was just using Sleeping Beauty as a moniker.:laugh:

I don't think Aurora's inclusion in the Princess line precludes the inclusion of her or Maleficent, but certainly, Maleficent is the more iconic of the two. I don't think "Disney Princesses" will compete at all with the CMF line. The demographic targeted is different, and none of the molds of the former can be used in the latter.

Even if princesses are included in the CMF series (which I hope to see), I don't think the 2 will compete either.

Not every character would require a molded head, but it might be a bit awkward to mix molded and standard, especially since that would leave some of the minifigures with noses and some without.

One more time...

Human characters: normal heads.

Non-human characters: molded heads.

Just saying, it's not that complicated. That's just the most sensible way to do it. Now, on to a more interesting topic, I'm pretty sure I saw some Mickey Mouse sets listed among the 2016 releases on Brickset. I don't care to bother checking the names, but I thought you guys might be interested. It would be a good way to get Pluto without worrying about fitting him with Mickey.

They're all Duplo. The last Duplo Mickey set looked like this (warning: it's an abomination).

I wonder how they'll do Mickey's shoes. I think dual-molded legs wouldn't allow for his pants, legs, and shoes to be represented on one pair of legs.

I could see them creating a piece that attaches to the bottom of the legs like the flipper piece or Dorothy's slippers for his shoes. Or they could mold a special pair of legs for him.

I think they could. Yellow footy-bottoms, black begs with the pants beginning red on the upper leg and continuing onto the torso with big stylish yellow buttons.
