Interesting list. I can't wait to see what they look like!

Mulan is the only one without another character from her movie. I have a feeling she will be in armor...

I enjoyed Inside Out a lot, so I hope the characters turn out cool when translated into minifigures.

Could the S13 Paleontologist hairpiece be reused for Jane?

That way, Jane could be a cost saver

Oh... and about this....

It could work:

My guess is that they will all have moulded head and I hope they do otherwise they will just look out of place.

As for accessories, here are my guesses.

1. Mickey Mouse - depends on which type of mickey they are going to make, this is a hard one to guess.

2. Minnie Mouse - - depends on which type of minnie they are going to make, this is a hard one to guess.

3. Donald Duck and Pluto - Pluto is the accessory

4. Peter Pan - Tinkerbelle would be a great choice.

5. Mulan - If she has armour, then the accessory will be a boring sword. I'm keeping my finger crossed for the dragon, but that will be too hard to make.

6. Genie - lamp or perhaps, dual tail and leg piece.

7. Aladdin - Abu or flying carpet

8. Lilo - Voodo doll

9. Stitch - laser gun

10. Tarzan - spear

11. Jane - Umbrella or a book

12. Captain Hook - a sword

13. Jafar - the parrot (can't remember his name)

14. Joy - No idea

15. Sadness - No idea

16. Anger - No idea

17. Fear - No idea

18. Disgust - No idea

I'm a bit annoyed that they decided to include the whole Inside out characters. I watched the movie recently, it is not that great in my opinion. I guess it's better sooner than later and It is good in away that they get rid off the whole characters in one go, so if you are a fan you get them all and if you are not, you will be relieved that they hopefully will not appear again in future series.

I can't understand why someone would actively hope against having Disney princesses as minifigures.

Not going to happen. Can you imagine someone like Mulan or Tarzan with a molded head? Terrifying.

10. Tarzan - Not sure....

They wouldn't give him a molded head. He has no need for it...he has a slightly larger nose but not to a point where it requires a molded head.

I have a feeling they might all be molded heads too. It seems odd to have a series with some regular minifig heads and some with molded heads. But anything is possible.

It could work. The Scarecrow/Farmer hat is closer to being on model, but I think the big strike against the Paleontologist's pith helmet is the hair plait. Doesn't appear she ever sported one. There are a few ways LEGO could tackle Jane, guess it'll mostly depend on if they do molded heads.

LEGO OFF-BRAND DISNEY MINIFIGS COULD HINT AT WHAT'S TO COME...

I'm guessing these minifigs will have specially molded heads, especially since almost every Mickey lego piece has and all the other non-Lego sets (like Smurfs) that devoted an entire line to special heads.

Plus the fact that the bootleg off-brand companies are doing it, TLC is left with no choice but to do it better... http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Pcs-Minifigures-Cute-Cartoon-Donald-Duck-And-Mickey-Mouse-Building-Blocks-Toys/121818585058?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3D034ddabe0c254f7c8831bc967f5fd317%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D111831381780

We've had previous minifigure series where the minifigures didn't have molded heads, and we've had the Simpson's series where all had new molded heads, I think it's time for a mix of both of them ;)

Please - ALL JUST STOP

I can "confirm" that the list is FAKE.

Yes Tarzan and Jane are an odd choice - not only because their lack of popularity in recent years - but also because DISNEY DOES NOT OWN THE LICENSE ANYMORE - They lost Tarzan years ago!

It's too bad, why there is no Vanellope in the list?

The parrot's name is Lago.

You still spelled it wrong, even with the link. It's Iago. I too hope we get Vanellope one day but maybe they didn't include her because Ralph would have to be a big fig. Fix it Felix jr. would be a great fig too though..

Disney lost the license to their own adaptation of Tarzan?

That's a stupid move...

I have mixed feelings about this list, I actually would love to see all characters, except the inside out figures. It really has something from every generation, the classic mickey and friends, movies that made it to the small screen (stitch is also really popular in Japan) and new characters for the little ones. And just to be fair, since Walt Disney died, Disney is all about the money, they just want to squeeze everything out of their new lines before people lose interest and who can blame them. About goofy, it's strange to not include him, but it isn't unthinkable, look at Disney infinity, they included mickey, Minnie and donald, but no goofy or daisy. And perhaps the reason why they included Pluto with donald (what happened in multiple shorts) is because they do sorcerer apprentice Mickey, what also happened in infinity before regular Mickey. We will probably get regular Mickey later with goofy in series 2 (still not sure about daisy, they forget about her very often). So this list might become reality.

Edit:

Btw, Mulan seems the most logical princess to get, especially if they wanna keep the princesses for the minidolls. She didn't really felt like a real princess and is a more appealing character for boys to get, she will probably come in her warrior clothes and will look somewhat like that warrior girl from series 13.

I could almost believe this list, but then there's Tarzan and Jane. I'm not so sure about those two as I think Disney had licensing problems with those characters some time ago, in fact I think the rights reverted back to the original owner at one point (That was why Deep Jungle in the game Kingdom Hearts never appeared in any of the sequels).

So unless Disney bought back the rights I'm thinking this isn't real.

Isn't that just a rumor that is going around Kingdom Hearts forums? I have yet to find any proof of this claim being true. Also, somebody said the same thing about Peter Pan several pages back, and yet him and Hook are the only confirmed characters for these CMFs so far, not to mention that there is tons of Peter Pan merchandise and spin-offs out there right now, including the LEGO DUPLO Jake and the Never Land Pirates sets. There may not be any Tarzan merchandise right now, but you can still see Tarzan in the Disney parks, so I'm pretty sure Disney can do whatever they want with THEIR version of the character(s). They may just not want to do anything with it due to the film's low popularity.

Isn't Mulan classified as a Disney princess?

Well, yes, she is officially a Disney princess, but she is technically not a princess, so I didn't count her. Besides, I'm pretty sure that if Lego makes her, she will have her military armor, not her geisha or civilian outfit that she usually has under the Disney Princess brand.

When I was thinking about this being real or fake, the Inside Out characters were a red flag for sure. But then I thought they could be included to appeal to younger and newer fans that may not be THAT interested in old characters

Yeah, also, this is a Collectable Minifigures series, so they could include all 5 emotions to encourage people to collect them all.

I still believe that regular Princess sets should be in charge of the characters by all means , so not having princess's in this series wouldn't be the deal.

I disagree and I'm surprised that you of all people are against minifigure versions of minidolls considering you make minifigure versions of minidolls yourself. If they keep the princesses exclusive to minidolls, we would have to mix minidolls with minifigs to have all Disney characters together and I feel that clash of two different styles of figures would just be too great. Some people might be okay with that, but I think most of us would prefer to have all characters in one consistent style.

What I meant was that anyone who thinks molded heads are great but thinks the minidolls are bad is...not of my opinion.

I don't care much for minidolls, but if molded heads are acceptable because they "Look more like the character", then the minidolls should logically be the same deal.

As someone who does like molded heads, I can tell you, no, it's not the same thing. That's like saying people who like Fabuland should logically also like Chima because it has anthropomorphic animals in it. Minidolls are a completely different style of figure which are designed the way they are to appeal to a specific audience. Molded heads on the other hand don't define the entire style of a minifigure, they just give it a more defined head shape to make it look more accurate. Now, I'm not saying all minifigs should have molded heads. They should only be used if they are necessary to improve a minifigure's appearance. For example, out of this rumored list I would expect Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Stitch, Anger, Fear, and maybe Genie to have a molded head. I think the rest would work with regular heads, but as long as they look good, I wouldn't mind if they have molded heads too, but that's just my opinion.

Disney is currently making a live action Jungle Book movie. They'd save those characters for the wave that coincides with the release of that movie.

But... the movie comes out in April and this series comes out in May, so wouldn't this be that wave?

I have no opinion about the accuracy of the list, but why is the inclusion of the Inside Out characters a red flag? It's still the most current Disney Pixar movie and very popular. Frozen came out in 2013 and we're still getting new sets. Also, in 2 CMF series and 2 sets of the Simpsons, there have been some pretty major characters missing, so I don't see why any particular character (other that Mickey, probably) missing from this list would make it less believable.

Well, technically The Good Dinosaur is the most recent Disney Pixar movie, but I agree with you.

The chance of this list being false is low, because bau-ukraine hasn't posted any fakes before.

I am not familiar with that site, so I can't speak for their credibility, but the impression that I got from briefly browsing through it is that it is a fan-run blog that just reposts Lego news from around the web. If they were a retailer site, I'd be a lot more inclined to believe this list, but we don't know where they got this information from, so I'll remain skeptical.

I never even heard of or seen Inside Out and the fact that they have 5 minifigures dedicated to the movie is

Really? I don't know what country you live in, but here in the US it has been advertised quite a lot and is often cited as one of the best movies of the year. You should definitely check it out!

Fixed it for you. But seriously, I get that some people may not like it, but its massive success and recognizable characters make them very good contenders for a series. If this list is real, they'd save the series for me. If it's fake, who knows, the real series may still bring some Joy to the collectors.

Agree 100%. I have no idea if this is legit or not, but that's exactly how I imagine LEGO will divvy up the characters. Use the only other licensed CMF line, The Simpsons, for reference:

- One complete set of characters (Simpsons family : Inside Out emotions)

- Pairs of characters that may or may not necessarily be well-known (Patty & Selma, Radioactive Man & Fallout Boy : Tarzan & Jane, Peter Pan & Hook)

- Must have favorite single characters (Ned Flanders, Chief Wiggum : Donald Duck, Pluto)

- Lots of A-list characters left out for future sets (Barney, Principal Skinner, Moe : Daisy, Goofy, etc.)

Doesn't prove anything. But if it's a fake, it's a well-thought out fake.

every time i read fallout boy, i think that lego made a vault boy and i get all excited :hmpf_bad:

It wouldn't be an issue if lego did want to make a Tarzan figure.

And Disney themselves has even less issues making new stuff with Tarzan.

Well sorry - the RIGHTS for Tarzan - my English isn't quite perfect, considering I've learned it from Doctor Who - anyway - this still proofs the list is fake.

Tarzan and Peter Pan aren't necessarily the same. Peter Pan lapsed into the public domain recently. As for Tarzan it appears the estate of Edgar Rice Borroughs still controls the license. Consider as well that not all Licenses are the same. Disney's deal will ERB may have been more limited. So it is possible that certain rights, like merchandising may have expired. And you're right, there's no official statement from Disney about the matter. Deep Jungle never did appear in any further KH games (Though it was planned to to be included at one point). Granted I suppose this could also have been the fault of Square-Enix, perhaps they didn't acquire the rights for this particular game.

I'm not saying it's impossible, I just find it a bit suspicious. Maybe Disney does have the rights to do Tarzan products, I don't know. I just find it suspicious as it was not a popular movie and these minifigures are being released around the same time a competing film studio is doing their own version of the character (Even then I guess Disney could just be trying to make some money off a resurgence in the characters popularity). I do hope the list is true, as Tarzan is one of my favorite Disney movies, I'm just uncertain at this point.
