They can't use Giselle

Because they made her based on Amy Adams. So, if they want to use her, Disney has to pay royalties to Amy Adams for using her likeness.

Obviously, Disney can afford that, but they don't want to do it because that would set a bad precedent for them. Especially considering that some princesses like Ariel were drawn based on a real life person (Ariel was based on Alyssa Milano)

That's why they retired Giselle as a meet and greet character in Disney parks

Thanx for trivia . Yeah, I think Giselle's chance isn't that big, but mainly due to that Enchanted might lose to other pouplar Disney franchises.

However, I would like to see at least one character represent non-animated films, like Tron or Mary Poppins.

I wish I had some sort of info to put this annoying princess debate to rest, but I don't know anyone who does. Sorry.

I disagree that this is enough of a reason to exclude princesses from the series, nor do I think they have to either make all of them or none of them.

Well to put it to an end, my opinion is that they may do it, but for many reasons it won't be perfect. It is a chance, but not the only one chance for the minidoll characters to release minifigures. As the franchise stays there is always chance..

Stitch is a perfect choice, and so as Lilo.

Is it just me or are we having the exact same conversation over and over again? XD

Anyway, I still think we must keep that fake leaked list in our mind. It's the only list posted here and in the wish list forum that actually made sense (for the most part at least). And I don't say we get that exact same list, but I really expect a list like that. Btw, we won't see any secondary characters before we've seen primary characters, just saying. Also there is absolutely no chance we will see 10 slots (if any) taken by princesses and princess only, Disney does have way more lines then princesses and they will also make a lot of boys disappointed.

I agree. If there are princesses, they will not all appear in one series. I'd suspect maybe a couple in each series, spread over multiple series.

^I didn't even think about Tron. I really enjoyed Legacy so that would be awesome. Probably would've done them too if they hadn't cancelled the next movie but alas I doubt we see them.

Minidolls may be more accurate, but only in relation to each other. Minifigures are more accurate in a minifigure setting.

I think Beast could be just fine as a minifigure, but I'm beginning to doubt he will be in this series.

I also think we can have Beast as minifigurines, maybe not in the series 1 but maybe in the series 2, especially now we have faun legs. A good challenge for TLG, with the purple cape and his mane but if he wears outfit for dancing, it could be easier. (I prefer daily outfit with purple cape)

Well it's in the current roster of Disney Infinity and also the only live-action franchise along with PotC and LR. I believe Tron has a very good chance.

It's named due to both figure size issue and the whole bunch of Princess debate above.... just not sure if LEGO would ever do Belle sets and so far there's no extraordinary body mold in minidoll's line. Maybe Hagrid's body could work for him?

Agreed. These make fine Tron minifigures. Nexo Knights are similar, but without a black base color.

I'd love to see Tron minifigures.

Shouldn't Peter Pan be on this list too? That make 3 confirmed figures. I'm also almost 100% sure Mickey Mouse will be in this series, he just has to. And with Genie revealed I'll put the chances for Aladdin on 50%. This makes 5. (I know 2 of them aren't really confirmed, but it's just logical thinking, well, sort of).

Again this makes me think about the fake revealed list. I actually think if I should pick 1 more unrevealed figure from that list (besides Mickey and Aladdin) I would go for Stitch. He is still very popular, especially if you look at the Disney parks. And he's also extremely popular in Japan, they even made a new show about him (well, it's not that new anymore).

I'll agree with Huigberts Builds and say I expect Stitch and Mickey, and I also think Aladdin will be likely.

Too bad about Tron, but as much as I'd like it, I figured it had a low probability.

Does anyone think we'll see Winnie the Pooh? I'm feeling like it could happen.

Sorry to allow me go back to the forbidden Princess topic , since Aladdin is the leading love interest of the franchise, I guess LEGO would keep him for the regular theme. As for Genie, his chance is based on whether the minidoll line would introduce a ghost-like lower part. Jafar's chance in CMF is rather bigger than the previous two.

Pooh is of course a popular franchise. The main issue could be that there are too many wanted icons in this franchise that CMF series cannot satisfy us. And it's almost for sure that Eeyore cannot live in CMF series..... (offtopic, it's kinda surprising Pooh is not in Disney Infinity yet...
