x105Black Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I will be very happy if Ariel is in this series, as I have wanted her hair for a long time, but never got it. I would love to see Ariel. She's my favorite Disney princess, and it will be great to have her as a minifigure rather than a useless minidoll. Peter Pan's hair finally gives us what we need for LEGO Ideas Link. Agreed, it looks like it will fit the bill. If we get Captain Hook and Genie, I hope they have molded heads because I think they'd need them. But the others don't really matter (apart from Ursula, who will just look weird with a standard minifigure head - a daft decision by LEGO IMO). I disagree on all points. I don't think Hook or Genie need molded heads, and I think Ursula will look fine. Quote
Brickity Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I just hope the face prints on these are adapted to the regular lego face (black pupils and no white eyeball) and don't end up like the minifigs from star wars clone wars :S Quote
deskp Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 The fact it's a brownish blond and spiky is leading me to believe it could be him! Not sure who it could be in the Disney Animated Canon otherwise. Who said the hair is for disney? its sjtu the sleepy head hair in a new color. Quote
Ultron Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 How could it be that guy from Tron though? I thought we were just told there'd be no Tron characters Quote
8BrickMario Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I'm betting the spiky hair won't be in this series. Not every piece in a batch of leaks has to correspond to the same thing. For the heads, I don't think any figure will need a molded head unless they're an extreme case. Hook would still be recognizable with a regular head. Look at the character from the live-action Spielberg movie. Still completely Hook, but not as cartoony. Syndrome will most certainly have molded boots, and gloves. Same goes for Mr. Incredible. Lightning for Syndrome's zero-point energy would make the most sense. Peter Pan will probably have his sword. And if we get Ariel, probably Flounder or Sebastian, or a seashell, The best option would be a dinglehopper, though. Quote
gedren_y Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 That spiky hair could easily be for Series 16. Mickey could have a standard head with an added on headgear piece for the ears, though I think that would be too small for his normal proportions. This would give the possibility, though, of using that top piece as one of the "ears hats" that Disney parks visitors inevitably get photographed wearing. Quote
TheBeefThief Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 The ''Mystery Hair'' might be a prototype colour for the rumoured German football series Quote
Aethersprite Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 The Incredibles?! It's my favourite Pixar movie ever, yay! Here's hoping we get the rest of the family, whether in this wave or future ones. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Those are some nice hairpieces. Love the fact that Ursula is apart of this series. Don't care much about incredibles, but those hairpieces are good. Peter Pan's hair piece is It was mentioned earlier and it would be cool to see the evil counterpart with the good guy/girl. Like Ursula/Ariel. Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I have to admit, I thought the Disney Series was fake but those mold proved me wrong! However I'm still worried how they will translate into Lego form. Large eyes have looked rather bad on a regular minifigure head as we've seen in the Clone Wars figures. Quote

strangely Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) I'm rather impressed. Kind of wish they hadn't molded the feather onto Peter Pan's cap, it's starting to become funny how Lego continues to produce green hats that nearly work for Link except for one detail. It's great just the same and I really have to say Lego is pretty spot on in accuracy for this series so far. Ursula is interesting. I'm thinking that pretty much guarantee's Ariel. It would be ridiculous if it were just Ursula and nobody else from the movie. So far the list seems to pit good vs. evil, so Ariel seems likely. Not that I have much interest in either characters, but that at least seems to hint that we might see other princess characters in this series. I'd be happy if that were the case, the mini-doll versions of the princesses don't look great to me. Now if it could turn out that Alice and the Queen of Hearts are in this series that would be great. Wendy Darling would be great too (Because she really is the main character in that story and I'm tired of her being shafted when she belongs right there with Captain Hook and Pan). Bricky Dee Williams Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Wow, love those Mr. Incredible andSnyndrome hairpiece. Could the mystery hairpiece, if it is for Disney, be for Hercules? Quote
deskp Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 She will look exactly like this: If so thats a new head, cause its longer than lego heads and it has no neck. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) Awesome news! I'm looking forward to it. I'm just bummed to hear we won't get any TRON characters; I guess that means Condorman is right out... Ok I see your point, even if I'd like to have Mulan or Pocahontas, I don't know if they are considered as Princess ? Mulan and Pocahontas are both officially designated as Disney Princesses. Bricky Dee Williams Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 If so thats a new head, cause its longer than lego heads and it has no neck. I think it's juts artist's rendition, not scale. Quote
rollermonkey Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Don't get your hopes up. These hairpieces pretty much prove that most of the (human) minifigs will have regular heads, so there's not much point in debating this any longer. If Peter has a normal head, so will Hook. There is still a slight chance Genie might get a molded head (and I think I would prefer that too) since he is less a human and more a "phenomenal cosmic" being with odd proportions, but we'll have to wait and see. This doesn't settle it. At the parks, Peter Pan is a "face character" meaning a natural human face with makeup as needed. Captain Hook is always a "costumed character" meaning he has a giant helmet head. Although Ursula has appeared in park as both, Genie as costumed only and the others as face characters only. I think until we see Genie as a standard minifig head or another costumed character with a standard minifig head, Hook could still be a mold. Quote
deskp Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I think it's juts artist's rendition, not scale. Nope, most of that guys figures has normal heads. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) That mystery hair will not be in this series. The thing most likely to happen for Mickey is the panda suit guys headpiece treatment. Not the exact same mold obviously, but something very similar. Edited December 28, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote

Robert8 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the info, once again If they go with the mask route for Mickey, then that means we can change the eyes for these: Therapy, here we go! Edited December 28, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
Dorayaki Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I would love to see Ariel. She's my favorite Disney princess, and it will be great to have her as a minifigure rather than a useless minidoll. To speak in a less offesnive way, you know minidolls are made to cater to their targeted market, so their "usability" is not objective. Some FOLs need minifigures and some need minidolls, that's my explanation. And not to repeat the whole discussion again, we know we are scarecely going to see all minidoll characters in this series, so we better not focus on something unrealistic. The Peter Pan head piece looks like it could be used for a Lego Zelda set, Not a bad thought, though wonder if LEGO would ask for its accuracy.... I just hope the face prints on these are adapted to the regular lego face (black pupils and no white eyeball) and don't end up like the minifigs from star wars clone wars :S Well hope it's the Scooby-doo ones :p. LegoCityNut Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I've not seen it in a while, but is it possible that new spiky hair piece colour is for Dash from The Incredibles? Quote
Cammo Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) Peter Pan's headpiece would be great to moc a Link (Legend of Zelda) minifigure. I'm glad they went with the regular minifigure-heads, they will blend in more with the other minifigure series. (edit: Oops, I really should keep up with all the posts...)
