Anyway, I hope the remaining mysterious minifigures surprise us! And I too hope that there is only a small portion of pixar. I'd like to see characters from Hercules and Pocahontas, but I will not put much thought into it or later on I'll be disappointed again :p

The minifigures confirmed are all amazing so I trust TLG for sure.

Yes, either person can update it. So far we have the Genie, Ursula, Peter Pan, Mickey Mouse, Captain Hook, Mr. Incredible, Syndrome, and two unspecified princesses.

Nah, they can't release Bele without the Beats! Unless he's coming in the CMF series, he'd be in the set. Otherwise, it would just be Beauty. No Beast.

Well we're discussing CMFs, and I don't think we can ensure that most franchises included here (other than Mickey&Friends) would have a complete roster of characters. Most of the B&B characters are literally mascots, and Belle could at most only bring Chip with her in a blind bag.

Regular sets would be able to complete characters from a single franchise, although sadly the current Disney Princess line hasn't done a good job so far.

Interesting. Yes, I guess that means we wont get Belle or the Beast in this wave. However, I hold out hope that we might get them in a subsequent series. As I've said before, I think the fact that a character already exists as a minidoll just makes it more likely for the character to appear in these CMFs later on since they will already have the mold for the hair and accessories like Flounder or Sebastian (maybe Lumiere in this case?).

Then again, it's hard to imagine them including a bigfig in a minidoll set... but that's a discussion for another thread.

That theory makes sense, although the way I expect LEGO take is to make them in more later regular sets.

I think the Beast should have a new body mold in the need of accuracy. In your aspect, I wonder what the minidoll line ask for? Does it want "goodlooking" or "accuracy"?

But we can expect them in series 2 cause next Year disney release the beauty and the beast movie!

Think that LEGO didn't do any job to promote the Cinderella movie, I don't think they would do that on purpose. And a regular set is good enough to do that, I guess.

I just think the ninjago movie series will take that special series for the year like Simpson's series 2 last year.

Well, licensed series and LEGO's originals would be different stories, remember TLM before Simpsons? So I guess a possible Disney series 2 would be right after the Ninjago series. Well, its natural to make belle and best in cmf eventually and it seems a good an opportunity as any. I just mean the cartoon version is enough right.

Mostly because of minidolls rather than minifigures. But they also haven't done enough in general.

He would be fine as a minifigure. A bigfig would be too big. Same goes for Sulley from Monsters Inc. if you ask me. So, if there's no Beast, I'm still hoping there's a Sulley.

Thanx, I posted in the previous thread . Overall, maybe LEGO think the real actor version would not help too much on the sales of sets based on original animated films, so they don't have specific arrangement for the Disney products. But suppose that reason is true, since Disney have established own regular line, LEGO's existed CMF characters may not be the examples for this case.

Anyway, now since Beast would more likely be in regular set, he might have better details and a reasonable size let's hope that happen

I love that Boudon design for bigfigs. It's a nice design. But I don't think Beast or Sulley would need to be represented as that big by any means. I think they would be just fine in the CMF Minotaur style.

Beast is not more than likely going to be in a regular set. If he appears in the Belle's Enchanted Castle set, then he will be in a minidolls set, which is decidedly different. Either way, it sounds like we aren't getting a Beast minifigure, which is sad. So I'm still hoping for Sulley, in the style of the CMF Minotaur.

As for the minidoll thing, the possible difference may be that a Beast with minidoll Belle could use the smaller minidoll neck, which means his molded head cannot be reused to a minifigure. But if the figure turns out very accurate or is attached to the body, we don't really mind.

Generally, I'm inclined to say that oversize characters can get better treats in regular sets more than blind bags.

The Muses from Hercules would be cool to see in minifig form. I know they aren't the main characters of the movie, but their singing was great. I remember them more than any other character besides Hercules.

In the pictures you posted, I would say that Beast is about the height of the Minotaur or similar creature minifigures in comparison to Belle (if she was a minifigure). Close enough anyways. And Mike would have short legs, standing next to Sulley who is the size, again, of a Minotaur or similar creature minifigure (like a Wookiee).

Mike and Boo are the size of human children (short legs). Sulley is an adult. Slightly larger, so make him like a Minotaur or Wookiee. I say go the extra mile and give him the long Toy Story arms and a similar head and tail combo like the CMF Lizard Man.

Fair enough. I think she was pasted in. But these are more accurate, and she's not that much shorter than Mike. Mike is a short guy. In fact, Boo is about the size of Maggie Simpson, a little shorter than Mike would be with short legs, who is shorter than Sulley would be as a Minotaur sized character.

My point stands.

Anyway, what's the big difference? The only difference between the two is hand articulation and one piece. Honestly, I don't expect either monster in this series, as Woody and Buzz are the biggest Pixar characters. Mike and Sulley might be in future series, or not at all.
