Cruella De Vil would be great! Especially with that new piece that Kraven the Hunter has in one of the Marvel sets.

You're right, that piece would indeed be perfect... Usually, new CMF parts are hints for future minifigs in other themes (Wacky Witch's hat -> Scarecrow, Series 13 Goblin's cap -> Green Goblin, Forest Maiden's hairpiece -> Endor Leia etc.), but this time, it may be the other way around :sweet:

I made a Cruella quite some years back, although the picture's not on this computer. Took the green cabbage hair from Exo-Force and painted it half-black, half-white, which was more styled after her book hair, and sawed off a police dog's ears (I had a bunch from pick-a-brick) and painted it appropriately.

I made Horace and Jasper too, and I remember doing Roger with the beret from the Artist CMF. Don't recall doing Anita.

Sounds pretty cool.

You're a terrible, terrible man.

No, but seriously, welcome! There's a customization thread around here somewhere, which sounds like it would be right up your alley. I have no idea where, since I can't bring myself to do that. I bent a few 5x6 leaf pieces one time and felt bad enough about that

Yeah, I usually wouldn't go that far if I hadn't had to many. But I do like to dabble around in the messier side. Thanks for the advice!

Sounds pretty cool.

Thanks!

What could Cruella's accessory be? A dalmatian puppy?

her cigarette and holder ;) j/k, a puppy could be ideal. how theyd do it, i dont know. maybe the standard dalmatian dog mould, but i would want one that says "disney character" in looks.

Would the chiuaua piece look good with the right color/print? I'm not looking at it at the moment, but it came to mind for the puppies, rather than the parent Dalmatians. (I haven't seen it in a long time :P)

And the Banshee Hairpiece -> that girl in the Ghostbusters set and the Zombie Cheerleader hairpiece -> Harley Quinn, etc......)

Maybe they are going to reuse the Faun legs for Philoctetes. Actually, I'd be surprised if that doesn't happen because that's the only way to reuse the Faun legs.

It is, now that we know Beast will not be in this series. It would obviously work for this character, though.

I think they're too tall. It'd work for Beast but I don't think he's in this series.

The legs could also work for Mr. Tumnus. However I don't know what Disney's current rights to the Narnia movies are. So I doubt he would make an appearance, if for any reason that the franchise has been dead for quite some time (Plus the last one didn't even have Disney's involvement).

The one in series 15 is basically already Mr Tumnus by design. I think it was a bit intentional like the old Genie in the series where they used a popular character as a benchmark.

To be fair, Tumnus is a fairly ordinary-looking faun, so I doubt there's any connection besides the character's popularity. At any rate, the S15 character and the lesser-known character probably exclude him from this series.

lol, i think the puppy would be ideal. I would want a new mold.

It could work, but the Chihuahua's ears stick up. I think they would have to go for a new mold.

im not overly familiar with the friends mold, but there may be one there that could work if decorated right? it cant just be a spotted puppy though, it has to recognisable as one of theirs. maybe patch, as he would be the most distinctive spots-wise. other puppies have names, but patch and roly would be the only two i could pick out a line up.

I just looked it up. And that puppy from LEGO friends has it ears down. It would work if they didn't want to make a new mold, but the dalmatian puppy would have to be decorated right.

All the licensed minifigures are unproportioned compared to the character they are based on

Ursula will be unproportioned as well. I don't need to see her to know it
