Pedilego Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 I don't know how you all do this every time. Speculation and rumors were fun at first but now it's just painful hahah Thought we'd have more info (perhaps pics?) by now. Are you sure you're a human being? Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 So that's why Sci can never find minifigures: He's a nocturnal cat who only goes out once every store is closed. Quote
KCMatze Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 You probably should! I can't wait for the official release of this series, but I have a feeling it might take longer then we all hope until we get there. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) If you haven't seen the classics, then this series isn't for you. Sure there are pixar characters, but far more classics. Edited February 9, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
BrickFit26 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Alice is cool I guess. Ive never seen the movie. Quote

Capn Frank Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Since this topic has derailed to a discussion about Disney Movies, I conveniently moved the last 6 post talking primarily about Disney Movies to Disney Movies and TV Shows Discussion in the community forum. Quote

Yay Phred! So there's information about more Pixar floating around? Would any informants care to edify the non-informed? Quote
JaseTJ Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Nobody said there were /more/ Pixar, only that Pixar would have some presence (which would seem to include--and possibly be limited to--Mr. Incredible and Syndrome). I'm not trying to be rude, but could you guys try to read at least the last few posts before you post? It seems like more often than not it would answer your questions adequately, and might keep the topic from wild speculation based off of something that's hardly related. (e.g. the Pixar comment above: someone says we're getting Pixar, one person asks if we're getting more, and next thing you know everyone seems to think the whole series is Pixar. I exaggerate--slightly--but the point stands.) Quote

I've read the entire thread, but thanks for the advice. Wild speculation about the inclusion of more Pixar figures is far more relevant than wild speculation about what species CM4Sci is (Seen above). I think it is very reasonable to respond to a post by an informant mentioning Pixar, with Pixar discussion. Makes sense to me. With people asking for more information about the Disney Classics, it is also reasonable to ask if there is info on more Pixar. To get back on topic: Disney Minifigs. Yay. Quote
Brickity Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Mmm, perhaps we'll see the queen of hearts now that Alice is confirmed? And, the cheshire cat for Alice is a good idea, it doesn't have to be too accurate in size... I mean, Ursula isn't getting her triple chin :p Btw, was mulan ever confirmed or was it my imagination? I think someone was told that by a LEGO Store Employee who had claimed to have seen the list. Then again, I was told we're getting more DW sets and a CMF line, so Quote
Actor Builder Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) CM4Sci posted this in the Series 16 thread. I don't know if it was ever confirmed that Ursula would use the old squid leg piece, but now it seems to be so. I'm curious, does anyone think they'll ever do a centaur? Would it be too big for the bag? I mean, they've done the snake tail and now they're gonna do the squid legs piece, who knows? I think there was some question as to whether or not this piece would be reused. Edited February 9, 2016 by Actor Builder Quote

Nope, that's just me guessing. I have 0 info on Disney, and it's just an assumption. A reasonable assumption, right? I don't think they'll make a new one for her. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I'd really like to be at the table where the designers discuss which Disney characters they want just to know how they choose what characters and what amount to make from classic, to pixar etc. Quote

That piece even has the right amount of tentacles for Ursula I'd really like to be at the table where the designers discuss which Disney characters they want just to know how they choose what characters and what amount to make from classic, to pixar etc. When discussing the new list for a CMF wave, the first thing they think is which minifigure will reuse the ponytail this time haha Quote

r5-j2 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 We are off to Disney World/LEGOLAND Florida later this year, so I hope to get something exclusive!!.............this is great news....hope Donald makes it onto the list! Quote
8BrickMario Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Actually, I've never seen Disney carrying LEGO sets based off of their properties, so I don't know if the series would appear at parks and Disney Stores. Quote

Last year at my Disney store, they had the Guardians of the Galaxy sets, so I would assume they would sell the Minifigure series there. Quote

Well, there's a great LEGO store in Downtown Disney in Orlando so either way you'd be set going to Orlando. Quote
Boettner Builds Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 What are the odds that we'll get some Muppets minifigs? I know that the Muppets are a Disney property. I just really want some "Muppet Treasure Island" minifigs!!! Quote
