"I am Kalalalali, and yes the demonic Wisps have been terrorizing me for the past week. I thought you must have brought them, you being the first being I have seen outside these chambers. As for the music..." The golem closes her eyes and begins to sing. The haunting melody fills the air reverberating off of the glassware, "Tis my favorite song, the Fiery Flamenco."

I clap my hands excitedly.

"We just fought off some of those icky wisps up there. One of our friends is monitoring the exit to make sure they don't come back. We could work together! You know, I think you must be talking about our salty friend. He would love to meet you. Can you move? You could accompany us!"

The words tumble out of my mouth almost faster than I can think them up.

"Nice. Do you have another copy of the song? Maybe I could use it in the future."

"I am afraid I only have the one copy, but you're free to take it."

"There is another like me? Oh for shame that I should be rooted to this spot. What I would give to have that fragrance all the time."

"I am afraid I only have the one copy, but you're free to take it."

Timothy gladly takes it, unless their party leader thinks it should go to someone else.

I'm sorry I spoke ill to you earlier. Torald bows, to emphasize his apology.

Well, the salt dude was also rooted in place, right? That is going to be a problem. Torald says to the rest of the party.

"I imagine you might get bored of it if you had it all the time, but we will do what we can to bring him here. Or to get the fragrance here anyway. Hopefully our defeating that beast up there would have helped. Thank you for the song. Hopefully it will provide Mister Salt man with the impetus to come on down here...if he can move.

"Now, party, I think we'd best move back up there."

Ezeran turns towards Tim. "What do you make of allt this? We have two elementals and hostile wisps in one assembly. Is it by pure chance or is the good Doctor testing some in vitro intelligent design?"

"Honestly, I have no idea. I didn't think any life was supposed to exist in this machine, but they certainly seem friendly enough. I don't even know how we'll know we've fixed it. Do we want to go back to the Salt Man now, or continue up to the next level?"

"Maybe we should try and eradicate these wisps first and tend to the romantic duties of inorganic substances after that?"

"Hee, hee! I agree. Let's pick up Hunkan and head on our way up."

"It is possible that the wisps were brought here and the alchemy kit is being sabatoged by the Guild's enemies, as the wisps have only been terrorizing Kalalalali here for about a week, and this is too crazy to be pure chance. "

"As good an explanation as any. I sense foul play nonetheless. The Ziegfrieds might be involved in this."

"Yes, that's what I was thinking too. Both the Salt Man and our friend here seem to have been around for quite some time, so I doubt they could be causing the failure.

Ezeran massages his temples and nods towards Petaldan with a tired smile on his face

"Are you alright, Ezeran? If you need a break, we can probably take a short rest."

Torald offers an arm to Ezeran, who seems tired. If need be, I could carry our mage? Torald tries to be useful, to make up for the last battle.

I look up disbelievingly.

"It's an awfully high climb."

I mean, the wisps have only bothered her recently, but the Salamander spoke like he's guarded them for a much longer time. As far as how so many forms of life appeared, I'd say that if someone were truly trying to sabotage these experiments, they wouldn't feel the need to add Sudz an Kal, who are completely harmless. I'd imagine they sprung up my accident. And sure, the Ziegrieds or the Wolf-faces or whatever could just as likely add the wisps only, but if some life can pop up here by chance, the wisps would be no exception. Kid shakes his head. The world is a crazy place.

Ezeran straightens up and flexes his shoulders. "Okay everybody lets make those wisps extinct, that has to be the prime objective now." Ezeran looks up, trying to spot more wisps

QM Note: Sorry it's a little difficult where you're all intending to head to, let me know if you had something different in mind.

"Hee, hee! I agree. Let's pick up Hunkan and head on our way up."

The Party heads upwards towards the Reflex Condenser. Upon reaching the next stage in the alchemical setup the group comes upon seven openings leading to a maze of tangled pipes. After attempting one path the group comes upon a dead-end and is forced to turn back. Which pipe would the Party pick?

QM Note: The party starts on the left and must pick the pipe (path of continuous chains) that doesn't lead to a dead end on the right. PM me your answer within 24 hours to be awarded XP. Feel free to ask questions as well.

The party finds Hunkan sitting at the entrance to the Aludel, looking bored. "I didn't see any of the wisps come back. Did you guys find anything down there?"
