MysticModulus Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 "True heroes are the ones who don't kill mages who are just doing their job and not even hurting anyone." Ezeran sighs "These mages are trespassers, saboteurs and possibly liars. They were caught red-handed and will pay the price for it. You saw the wisps, did they seem all cuddly and cute?" Ezeran turns to Petaldan. "There is no black or white in this conflict, only informal rules and risk managment. These mages broke the rules and got busted. They had no business being here in the first place. I don't know where Tim comes from but that fairytale reality does not belomg here."

Alfadas Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Torald switches to his Sludge Glaive and attacks the Genie, front row.

There are no clearly defined rules of punishment for crimes like this, but death is certainly not one of them. Right now, you are certainly the darker shade of grey than they are."

We told them to come with us, or die. I don't want to kill them, but they are resisting arrest. We all killed an innocent salamander without hesitation, and you said nothing. and by doing that, we set free the wisps. But here we are, with a guilty man, and you want to let him go. You've already crossed the line of innocence.

Our mission is to make sure this machine is working properly so that these mages and others like them can continue to do their work. And are you really saying that these men are as good as animals to you? These men, as I mentioned before, are not hindering the completion of our mission. Right now, only the four of you who insist on fighting are."

In a few minutes the doctor will pull us out of here, and if his device still doesn't work, we'll have failed in our mission. And if we let them go, how do we know they won't keep coming back for more?"
Waterbrick Down Posted May 4, 2016 Author Posted May 4, 2016 (edited) QM Note: I still need an action from Petaldan in order to run the round.
