MysticModulus Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Ezeran senses an insecurity emanating from Kid and he smiles towards him. "From what I've seen so far you'll be just fine Kid!"
Waterbrick Down Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 Wolfwind wanders in, looking stressed. "Sorry I'm late, but my life has been crazy recently. I should be ready to go, though. With everyone else here, let's get rolling! The name is Wolfwind, not Wolfkin. Other than that, stats are fine. "Ah, tho glad you could make it." The doctor turns to the rest of the party. "Do you have any further quethtionth before ve begin?"
MysticModulus Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 "Ah, tho glad you could make it." The doctor turns to the rest of the party. "Do you have any further quethtionth before ve begin?" "Not really, I suggest you give the protective gear to Petaldan so he can distribute it later. I'm ready to go! ".
Alfadas Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Ready! Time to go small and find your assistant! Torald says with a hint of concern on his face, almost if like he doesn't really like the idea of getting pinky-sized.
Kappy Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) "I'm glad you made it! I'm Ezeran!" "Hello Ezeran. I don't think I ever introduced myself. I am Wolfwind. Nice to see another mage here." Edited April 2, 2016 by Kappy
MysticModulus Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) "Hello Ezeran. I don't think I ever introduced myself. I am Wolfwind. Nice to see another mage here." "Likewise! I see you brought an opal, that complements my powers nicely. We should be able to handle most threats together! This party is a good setup for a team. I've fought many battles with Torald, he's very competent and a great guy. Petaldan might seem naive but his acts are always acts of valour guided by a moral compass. As for the others I guess they are diamonds in the rough. Even Hunkan despite his bad manners." Edited April 2, 2016 by MysticModulus
Alfadas Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Thanks Ezeran, my friend. You are being too generous. Torald turns towards the Wolf. I'm Torald, barbarian with half-decent manners.
Kappy Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) "I'm Torald, barbarian with half-decent manners." "Greetings, Torald." Edited April 2, 2016 by Kappy
Palathadric Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) "Ahem! Greetings everyone! Most of you know me, already, but my Name is Parfenius Petaldan, and apparently I will be leading this little expedition. Before we begin, it may be a good idea for some of us, especially my two good friends Torald and Ezeran, to see whether we have any items that may be of use to any others." So saying, Petaldan unstraps Daugslyr from his belt and hands it to Hunkan and then takes out his Emerald and hands it to Wolfwind. "Here, you can make better use of these than I can, during this quest. Please return them by its ending. Oh, and as far as these artifacts are concerned, I think the Goggles should go to Hunkan, and the Sterile Gloves to Kid. Edited April 2, 2016 by Palathadric

Alfadas Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 I could lend my Crocodile belt to someone, I won't be using it any time soon. Just say it and you can have it, for now.

Palathadric Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 "Thank you for the Emerald, Petaldan. I promise to return it." "You're welcome. I noticed you didn't have one, but I know Ezeran does."
BountyBeast Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Hunkan tests the weight and feel of Petaldan's sword. "Thanks. I hope there's nothing in there that will require me to use it, though."
Kappy Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) Torald lends the Crocodile belt to the Wolf. "Thank you, Torald. I will use it well." He turns to the doctor. "When are we getting started anyway?" Edited April 2, 2016 by Kappy

Dr. Cula watches the group, foot tapping on the ground. "Vhat do you think thith ith, the Fieldth of Glory?" The doctor finishes taking the lid off the minimizing dust. "Oh, one last thing, this might prove useful." Map: A layout of Dr. Cula's chemistry setup. "Now, let'th get to the thrinking!" The party groups together as the Alchemist blows a handful of the dust over them. A weird sensation falls over the party as the room begins to rapidly get bigger and Cula rapidly taller. The shrinking finally ends when the heroes are about the size of a small coin. Dr. Cula reaches down and gently picks the party up before depositing them within one of the tubes in the alchemy set. The vampires voice booms out like thunder to the group. "I'LL GIVE YOU THIX HOURTH. I'M THETTING YOU DOWN IN THE DOUBLE RETORT. GOOD LUCK!" A rubber stopper is placed back on the glassware and the Party finds themselves contained within a brightly lit glass chamber. Above them, the group notices a small spout leading to another flask. Before them, two valves lead downward to diverging paths. One of the openings seems to be crusted over with gunk and corrosion. What would the Party do?
Alfadas Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 That might be the problem, Torald says, pointing at the corroded opening. Let's check it out!
dum Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Kid counts the members of the party, having a bit of difficulty with it. ...-Petaldan, and Kappy. Kid squints at the number of fingers he has up, which isn't very many, considering his hands are basically incomplete yellow circles. That's six of us. Maybe we could split up into three groups of two and check out each direction?
Kappy Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Wolfwind puts his staff away and pulls out his Trickster's Baubel. "Let's do it!"
MysticModulus Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 "I agree with Torald, let's find out what that corrosion is and what might have caused it!"
