Rhys Flaidd DeTaillefer Kurosawa-san: "I came here with my father from 42 years ago, I was only 5 then...and barely remember crossing the sea." We are sailing up "The Lifeflow" with our new-found friends...apparently due to the rocky, volcanic nature of this end of the river, our ships, even the larger ones, can travel some 12 miles up river before reaching an escarpment of waterfalls that feeds the lower river. Le Dindon on The Lifeflow.... on Flickr Kurosawa-san's group made their home here in a bend of the river, 10 miles upstream from Bastion, that stills the waters to a glassy, lake-like consistency.... Vedauwoo Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 (edited) Can "the powers that be" please correct my title to "Brotherhood of the Red Dragon" (I forgot the "r") Thanks Edited April 1, 2016 by Vedauwoo Quote
Puvel Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 That is a beautiful dojo! Adding a small version with its surroundings is an excellent idea! Quote
Fuzzy MacFuzz Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Fun build with some very fine features, like the dragon's head altar and the trainee fighters. I love the combination of a micro and full sized build in your story telling. Great integration of samurai Lego into BoBS. Maybe this is the origin of the Occidental pirates who raided Port Raleigh? Whatever the truth, this new alliance cannot be good news for civilised shipping. Quote
TitusV Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 I like that the first build is the micro-Version of the second! Good job on both Quote
Vedauwoo Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 Ninja Sea Rats!!!!!!! Yes, yes....the whole "Pirates vs. Ninjas" thing is a common myth....the truth is Ninja pirates rule....."Ninja" makes everything better....even turtles.... Quote
Exetrius Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Awesome dojo, the dragon shrine inside is a great detail, as well as the bamboo. I like how it's build on poles above the water and how it has a nicely tiled walkway going all around. I'd say a few points to work on are the 'studdedness' of the water, the pier and the black part of the roof; just a few tiles would make it look better, I think. Keep up the good work! Quote
Bregir Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Great to see some far-west (? ) architecture in BoBS! The idea of showing the setting in micro scale is brilliant, and I think the building is full of great details. The story is great too! Well done! Quote
