sam89 Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Does anyone consider the possibility that these could be fake? No :-P But seriously, why would an online shop put up fake pics? They put up real Speed Racer pics, so we can assume these are real too. Quote
Hinckley Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Does anyone consider the possibility that these could be fake? I mean, with Indy sets appearing all over the market, how hard would an Indy figure be to get? Plus, the tent dosent look like a classic Lego tent, so it could be fake. Also, the red star may just be a custom decal. Sorry, but it just seems a little too early for preliminary pics to show up. But on the other hand, if these are real, they look great! *y*There are a couple of new molds in there that make me believe these couldn't be faked. The tent can be seen in this set and this set. It looks pretty much identical to me. Quote
UFO Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 (edited) Ooo! A tent! I like how these look like 1990's sets. Edited December 8, 2007 by UFO Quote
Derek Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 On another not, Hinckley, I did not notice you are now a Graphics Admin! Sorry for the off topic, but what does that mean? DP8 Quote
Indy565 Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 (edited) Awesome! Well... The first one: :-X The second one: Okay, but where's Indy? The third one: Awesome! Edited December 8, 2007 by Indy565 Quote
casewindu Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I haven't really taken to these sets at all they look to much like mocs even though you guys have mae it certain they are real. I think they need alot more work before they're put on the shelves :-( Quote
Courleciel Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Very good find! three other sets for the trilogy. *wub* Quote

jedikermit Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I'll be buying all four of these, even if the movie sucks and/or blows. I like the look of the vehicles--historic with a twist. The biggest question mark is the Jungle Duel...it seems like there needs to be more to it than...that. I know it's preliminary, but...hmmm. Can't wait to see the Temple of Whatever. Quote
Athos Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I'm not all that impressed with these new offerings. It will be nice to get a tent, but the river chase looks like a mess and the lawnmower isn't doing much for me at all. Hopefully, the final versions will be better. Steve Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I'm not interested in Indiana Jones sets. Nevertheless the sets seem to look very nice. I especially like the nice trees - why doesn't TLC include bigger trees similar to them in Castle, City and accessory sets?! Quote

Belloq Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Hello everyone, I'm BACK! X-D I noticed everyone moved from the old board to this one, so, I decided to move in as well! *sweet* The other board is dead-ish *skull* But I am not missing out on all the Indy-discussing fun! :-D I very happy today, for Strange reasons! :-P Quote
Piranha Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Strangely the Pics have been removed from that site :-D And still no sign of the Temple set :'-( I really want to see it and behold the Crystal Skull! Pics On P Quote
the enigma that is badger Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Never thought I'd link to them for LEGO news, but CHUD.com has posted translated from German descriptions of the Indy 4 sets: LEGO INDIANA JONES Jungle Duel While Indy trys to handle the giant ants, Irina Spalko and Mutt start to duel with their swords. Mutt barely dodges Irinas blade which cuts the table in two. LEGO INDIANA JONES River Chase On their adventurous getaway from their opponents, Indy and Marion abscond in an amphibious vehicle. LEGO INDIANA JONES Jungle Cutter Indiana Jones and Mutt are stuck in their needy hideout. They're hiding from the soldiers' jungle cutter wich cuts its way uncompromisingly. Fortunately Indy has his Bazooka! LEGO INDIANA JONES Temple of Akator Indiana Jones and Mutt are on the climax of their adventure. They have to solve the secret of the lost Temple of Akator before it falls into the hands of the dangerous Irina Spalko. But at first they have to resolve the countless perfidies of the ancient temple. Quote

Athos Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Perfidies of the temple? That sounds like a great name for the set... Akator's Perfidies... X-D Steve Quote
jedikermit Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 ...so I wonder if Indy's son's name (the Shia LeBouf) character is named "Mutt" ? If so, my first reaction was to laugh, and then the second was to laugh harder and better--after all, "Indiana was the dog's name," so...like father, like son? Quote
Piranha Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Thanks for the info :-) They all sound very interesting, but where in the jungle duel are the giant ants?Perhaps it will be a new mold!! The sword part explains the table and katana Mutt is an odd name though, and is also a Spoiler! Wait these are all spoilers! :-D P Quote
hollisbrick Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 sweet we'll be getting a lego bazooka! 8- Quote
