LucByard Posted June 22, 2016 Author Posted June 22, 2016 (edited) As I can not see clearly from the pictures, what does the lettering in the four quadrants say? Thank you 3D LEGO, The markings denote the pad's designation depending on a vessel's approach, written in a absrtact brick-font to look spacey. They say 'Alpha' 1R, 'Beta' 2C, 'Gamma' 1L and 'Delta' 1C. Edited June 22, 2016 by LucByard Quote
3D LEGO Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 LucByard, Thanks for the clarification. Nice little touch denoting approach vectors as you have indicated. 3D LEGO Quote
LucByard Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Although it's not fully finished yet, it's close enough for display: The visitors seemed to love it and it's been my best event yet. Next to do is the service deck suspended between the legs. Quote
-zenn Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Nice, love the structure of the surface and so many great detail in the base itself. I always tend to hear 'all your base are belong to us' when I see a Blacktron build... Quote
MikroBricks Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Incredibly visually striking MOC. The more muted base really helps the whole landing pad "pop" and shows off the great color scheme. Quote
BrickShady Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Great landing pad, I like the hexagonal shape and the huge B letter in the middle! Quote
LucByard Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 Great landing pad, I like the hexagonal shape and the huge B letter in the middle! Thank you (it's octagonal though ; ) When I do a formal photo shoot with it, I'll take out the centre section so you can see how the design was done. Quote
BrickCurve Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Looking great so far. I look forward to the finished MOC! Quote

LucByard Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) Well it took me long enough but I finally organised some formal shots. Here's the first couple and I'll be adding more later to detail all of the different modules that make up the perimeter and the Aerial Intruder. Pad surface: Wide-angle with Aerial Intruder. Legs: Terminal 1: Main Computer. More to follow. Edited January 7, 2017 by LucByard Adding more details. Quote
