New Impulse Fig Pics

Two pics of one of the new figs from the Impulse Castle sets:

Printing seemed a tiny bit off on my fig, but it's much more noticeable in the picture than it is by eye. Macrophotography - making swine out of pearls!

Alas, they didn't have the Wizard yet, but fingers crossed for next week!

I picked up about 30 of these today. My suspicions were correct. This is the most popular one and the others weren't moving at all. (Note: I did not see the wizard set. I don't think it's been released yet.)

It sure is a cool torso, although I prefer the other ones for soldiers. This one reminds me more of a royal gaurd or the tunic a knight wears under his armor. I could get used to it I think. Anyway it's great for army building I guess!

I'd call Lego Direct and have a replacement torso.

I did call for a replacement a few years back when one torso I picked up was truly awful, but this one really isn't this bad at all; the macrophotography just exponentially increases the minor defects that you wouldn't usually notice under normal circumstance.

Well, they could be cheaper, but this was something were I waited years for. I will not buy 40 or something, but maybe 4 or 5. (I know the 7090 has more pieces for the same price, but I especially want to build up my crownies)
