thanks sinner!

guess i was wrong. the helmet is just the dwarf's. drat. oh well, hope they come up with a new one for the release version.

at least from what we can see, the wheels are brick built. that's great...i guess if i want to, i can resize it.

6 figures...hmm, probably $20-30 range. same as the skeleton carriage i guess. SC has 5 mfs, but 4 horsies.

too bad not enough shields again. :-|

i wonder when they are going to introduce new heraldrys. the crown is getting boring. :-P

Not a problem. After I scanned it I looked for the ninja wrap and couldn't find it. I was hoping that I was wrong... :'-(

Yes, it seems they are made the same way as 8117 Storm Lasher is, that is with click joints. This actually makes the set more appealing to me... darn. :-P

Thanks for the better scan, Sinner!

I wonder if LEGO realizes that they have the Trolls running the wrong way on the wheels...

Perhaps they are running backwards? 8-|

This will be a big set.

I wonder how they move it on water (the orc cycling it?)

Hopefully it will be cheap, or else i will end up broke again.

Thanks, Sinner! *wub*

I see the crownies have their new torso in this set. Mabye all of the 2008 sets will have that torso for the knights *sweet*

About the orc helmets, they are the preliminary helmets shown in the pics of the 2008 sets, so we'll most likely be getting the *knight* helmets for them like in the Dwarf Mine.

Um, the wheels appear to be mainly 'wooden'. I'm so glad the spokes are brick-built, this makes the set much more appealing. And I bet there's some ingenious mechanism to stop it from falling over. At least I hope there is. Even a simple mechanism, so long as it doesn't fall flat on it's face! And I'm pretty sure, as TinyPiesRUs said, the helmets are the preliminary Ork helmets.

I can't figure out what that knight it doing though. Is that a giant flail? The best option would be to pull the Orks running backwards powering the machine off. Maybe the knight is trying to snag an Ork with his chain whip? X-D And another awesome Ork banner, it would be awesome to see an Ork fort with heaps of those banners.

i guess it takes an engineer to understand the mechanism. :-P

it's quite simple... the seat between the two wheels have a counterbalance weight at the bottom to keep it right side up. the two wheels are connected to a spoke that goes through the "seat" in the middle. if designed with the right counterbalance weight there should be very little rocking but if too light, the poor troll in the seat will fall face down. if too heavy, well... it takes a lot of power and energy to move that thing. :-P

__________

Or it could just have a little third wheel behind it that we can't see :-P

Clearly Batbrick's mind has turned to mush! *wacko*

Thanks for the better scan, Sinner!

Maybe they're not. Maybe they're running away from the litle catapult thingy, so they'd have to face it to go the right way :-D

LOL! :-D I can just imagine that!

Troll Commander: Quick! Turn back men! Our uber-giant crushing wheel stands no chance against their puny baarricade and catapult! :-D

No, THIS IS SPARTA!!!

Lord of Pies--LMAO!

[quote name='Tohst' Reminds me of my favorite 'car' in Twisted Metal 2

Tohst, it is similar to that character! I always used to use Spectre though: I loved the extra heat-seeking rockets his car came with. Now I'm totally going to have to break that out soon :)

Tks Sinner for the better scan ;-) I love how you always come with good news thatr make me spend money :-P Darn you in fact X-D

Upon closer inspection, I really like that set and the wheels look really well built with the wooden mid section with teeths and the bley surrounding of it !! + the wooden interior looks promissing !!

The shape looks really sweet (now I understand the term of battling ram :-P ) and 6 figs is pretty good as well !!

I love the way TLC ontroduces humour in those sets !! Its hilarious to see those goblins (yeay I know its the wrong terminology but TLC's terminology plainly sucks) run like idiots to make that machine move X-D

One question though: how on Earth are they climbing up there ?

Castle is still revealing cool stuff, excellent !!

*yoda*

Special trained orc forces, got raised on that thing.... :-P

X-D Oh I now understand why they don't need the chicken leg incentive :-P

*yoda*

but it seems like the orc are running on the wheel by holding some spears to prevent them from falling.

poor orc. :-D So the orc will run to move the wheel from the top.

Hehe, yeah. Well without the glaive I guess they'd fall off and get smooshed under the wheel.

I am so doing a comic of that when I get this set! X-D

You know if the Orks had a fort on the top of a hill, they'd only need a couple of these rolling down the hill to wipe out any attacking Crownies. :-P Heck, they could even take off the wheels and roll them down the hill, saving them some troops!

:-D I get kick-backs from Lego. Please tell me if you end up buying it. ;-)

Yeah, I felt the same way. Prior to doing the scan I thought it was just a big wheel with bits added. Looking closer at it made me change my mind too. :-$

check this!!

:-D

i am "checking" this and i am wondering...what the megablocks is it doing here?

oh and welcome to eurobricks

check this!!
