Never was a truer word said DT, never should a childs toy be linked to what happened in WW2 or ant war for that matter.

To those asking about the subject matter and why...make sure to read the article linked before the first pic. It details why the artist chose the subject matter, that Lego really didn't know what they were 'sponsoring' and that a few Jewish communities find it to be an interesting look on a painful memory and raises questions about the world adults present to children.

After all, we don't get Indigo Islander sets where minifigs are dying of smallpox in droves, nor is there a small set consisting of a minifig, a horse, and 'clean blankets' to give to indians. I'm also fairly certain that the Vikings theme isn't going to include some of the more mature elements of the dark ages. It does raise the question of what kids will think of when they look back on WWII 150 years from now, and how those stories will be portrayed.

Edit: My mistake, the link was edited.

Well, I made my Nazis out of SW officers and City police. I'm using all flesh tones to make it more realistic. Progress on the actual camp is minimal - I have one guard tower almost completed (they're large) and the fence (no wires, though). Will I be able to post the finished product here, DoubleT/jonfett/jipay/Apo?
