Posted April 6, 20168 yr I thought it was time for another of my Transformers, Sunstreaker this time. As with Optimus, this is based on IDW's comics “Infiltration” to “Revelations” from 2008. (That's why he is a Diablo and not a Countach.) I started in September 2010 and finished in May 2014. It have been on my MOCpages since then and I recently added it to flickr too. April 7, 20168 yr I saw the title and was hoping for Transformers, but expecting or bracing my self for SunCruiser rocket ship. . . . . .wasn't disappointed in the least. That's ill!! Breakdown next???
April 8, 20168 yr The cross section photos are very inspiring and I love the hand mechanism so much !! I noticed the knee joint is powered by a pair frictional hinge plates . Its incredible how they can bear the weight of this huge MOC
April 8, 20168 yr Author Thank you everyone! Breakdown next??? He is on my to do list. I'm basing him on the Fansproject toy but have only made a foot so far. Currently all my transformers are on hold. The cross section photos are very inspiring and I love the hand mechanism so much !! I noticed the knee joint is powered by a pair frictional hinge plates . Its incredible how they can bear the weight of this huge MOC Thank you! I like your transformers too. The knee joint actually can't support the weight. He can only stand with straight legs. On the last picture he mostly balance with the bent leg wich is in it's end position. It's a kind of a waste to add all the articulation when I can't really use it with such a large robot but I want to get all the details from the comics. Edited April 8, 20168 yr by EpsilonEta
