Posted April 7, 20168 yr I really liked the latest wave of space port offerings, especially the updated nose cone piece. Here I’ve merged the space shuttle from 60080 Spaceport and the 60078 Utility Shuttle along with a few extra pieces in the wings aiming for a more accurate representation of the retired NASA Space Shuttle with its four panel cargo bay and longer wing-profile. I hope you enjoy!
June 5, 20168 yr Hello, it is exactly what I aimed to do. But, for the fuel tank and the boosters, I thought it will be easier with two box 60080.
July 13, 20168 yr I finally acquired two 60080s to do this very thing (after months of waiting on ebay for a couple good deals). I like the nose cone piece too. I know a lot of people think it's too specialized/specific, but I think it looks better than the build solutions in other sets to be honest. I'm mocking up plans in LDD to make the rest more accurate to the real shuttle.
