Well, i have a MISB lego set 1

i listed it on ebay, but got not much intrest, prehaps thats becouse not many people know it exists to look for it.Brickset doesn't even have it listed.

Here are the pics:

FRONT OF BOX

now, it looks like a tear from a price sticker but it's not.the set came in a plastic wrapping and it's even still in that, and the sticker is ripped from that.so its really nothing.

It's on Peeron and Bricklink and it's from 1977. The range was called "Minitalia" and it actually isn't 100% lego; that's why it has an unusual number. Lego were forced to make sets in Italy for a while due to import restrictions so the box might say that it is made in Italy. Yours however is one of the last ones so it should actually be mostly real Lego. You can find out more here and see the full list of sets here.

Not a problem. I wish you luck! *sweet*

Yes, that's a parallel LEGO line, made for Italy, and Japan (if I'm not mistaken). It has hollow studs and slightly different colors. This set has the Minitalia series quite famouse windows (second type), that are a now rare to find. I heard about people who would almost kill to have some of those windows.

This is probably not LEGO set n

I was hoping you would chime it! How common were they?

Sorry, I'm too young to know or remember from personal experience :-$ . But I got a big bucket full of these pieces from a cousin of mine, and she wasn't a great LEGO fan, so I guess they where quite common in Italy for a while.

You can find more here, by lucajuventino (EB member, too). It's mostly Italian but there's an English text at the bottom of the page ;-)
