soccerkid6 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Built for the “Night at the Opera” category of the 2016 MOCAthalon. I’m not familiar with opera in general, but I enjoyed the opera scene from Mission Impossible, Rogue Nation and decided to base my build off of that. It was an interesting challenge to include both the stage and props, as well as some backstage area and support structure. On stage the opera continues smoothly, but danger lurks, hidden in the shadows. Will agent Ethan Hunt be able to prevent the assassination? A video showing the construction of the center pagoda, I'm working on one for the tower: There are lots more pictures on my website. Thanks for looking Quote
BrickCurve Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Great MOC! The amount of detail you managed to fit into the backstage part is amazing. I also really like the lighting grid. Quote

iammac Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I love this build! The amount of detail in the catwalk could have the tendency to look too busy, but you've pulled it off quite nicely here! Quote
