Christian Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Thanks for pinting out this great deal! I just bought some of the furniture, even though I have no use for it nor space anywhere ;-)
gylman Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 We had this in North America a couple of weeks ago. http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...ic=10116&st=105 All sold out. When these first came out, at those ridiculous prices, I thought to myself...... "Even at 50% off I'll not be getting those." But at 80-90%, I indulged myself. I wonder where the heck I am going to put them though....
Lord Of Pies Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 *sing* That was my problem too, I thought: "Ooohhh what a great deal, but where would I put it?"
LegoFranks Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 All sold out! *swears profusedly...* Excuse my language... M.
Dfenz Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 (edited) All sold out! *swears profusedly...* Excuse my language... M. The table and storage chest are still available at LS@H Europe as I type. When I ordered 12 green storage racks (not all for me!) they were available earlier tonight but immediately after placing the order I noted they'd sold out so I'm not sure if I'll get some or all of them. The stool has also sold out since. David PS thanks for the heads up on this site re the sale !! Edited December 14, 2007 by Dfenz
Siegfried Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Interestingly the stool for Australians was originally $100 AUD ( *wacko* ) was $30 last night, was $10 this morning... and is sold out now... wait it's back again. The "LEGO
gylman Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 When I got home tonight, two of the ones I bought last week have arrived. You have to assemble them. They are quite heavy - hopefully will be nice and sturdy. Still have no idea where I will put them though...

gylman Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Could you post some pics later? After assembly I presume.... :-D Hopefully I'll have time this w/e. I am curious about them too.
gylman Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Update: a real disappointment. 1) messed up the colours. I didn't get the red and yellow I asked for. Got blue and green instead. 2) only got 2 of the three items. No toy box for me. Only the wheeled open drawers. 3) they didn't provide the hardware required to assemble the units: no screws, no wheels, no nothing. Apparently someone just "forgot" to put them in the packaging. I called S@H and they were nice enough, and said they would ship it, but I'm out of luck on the colours because there are no more in stock anywhere. It's hard to beef too much when you get stuff at such a low price, but it certainly takes much of the joy out of buying a "bargain". If I had paid full, or even half price for this, I would have been absolutely furious. Shop @ Home has been a major disappointment this year, and this is not the only time. Several orders were only partially filled, with the rest turning up as "not in stock". Damaged boxes galore, to the point where I no longer buy big boxes from them. I get them at TRU instead, where I can make sure I get a good box and bring it home safe, even if it's extra hassle. Delays in shipping a few times. There were always issues with them, but mostly S@H used to be reliable. This is far and away the worst I have seen with them, and I've been buying stuff from them for years and years. :-(
agrotic Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 all sold out ... snifff snifff snifff ! they where 90% off !!!!!!

I don't honestly think it's going to get any better either... :'-(
gylman Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Well, it seems to me that if we want real action, we need to write to the manager at TLC whose job it is to supervise Shop@Home, not to the S@H people themselves. Maybe the Ambassadors can relay our frustration to someone in TLC management. Writing to a bunch of hired lackeys and saying "you suck", is not likely to elicit action from said lackeys.
Doctor Sinister Posted December 22, 2007 Author Posted December 22, 2007 (edited) My two storage thingies arroved today (but not the toybox, I expect it's gone to the same place as my missing train) and as you'll see from the below image, they fit nicely below Tabletown.
