Posted December 15, 200717 yr Just a quick question, does anyone know if Lego factory has catepillar tracks? I cannot find this piece :(
December 17, 200717 yr Author Thanks ricecracker. Yes I mean these: Im not sure what sets currently on the market sell them or whether you can get them on the TLC website. Ive looked but not seen. Maybe I need new glasses. I was also wondering how to use them, what "spokes" or tyre holder things would be required..
December 17, 200717 yr There are 2 versions, the one in the pic you need my wheels, for the other version, like this one, you need your wheels Rupee.
December 17, 200717 yr Author Thanks alot guys. So basically I am right in thinking that these two things should work together?
December 17, 200717 yr Wrong, that track and the wheels i said, that's the combination...I speak out of experience!

December 17, 200717 yr But that track in the pic is an older version, so harder to get, i would say buy the excavator in the link i posted, newer version..
December 17, 200717 yr if you want it to look better i would use the chain link ones as the rubber tracks are really annoying and often too small. steel...
December 17, 200717 yr Author Well, to be honest, the excavator tracks are way too big. I am trying to make a small tank, small as in similar scale to classic lego cars etc. As a start I have ordered some of these tanks. They are pretty small as you can see so the tracks need to be small. So maybe I will have to look at ebay or just not use them at all.
