I stayed up all night to finish it but here is my entry:

Copmike Mech

copmike_mech01.jpg

To keep certain whackers in line, severe law enforcement equipment is necessary...

copmike_mech02.jpg

Feeling lucky, punks?

copmike_mech03.jpg

I suppose this is what would happen if Joel Shcumacher wrote the Walrus and the Whacker... :-$

copmike_mech04.jpg

copmike_mech05.jpg

What's this? Armor plated mech butt? And what's that pink thing?

copmike_mech06.jpg

Fuel tank...

copmike_mech07.jpg

copmike_mech08.jpg

Siren and lights

copmike_mech09.jpg

Fabuland mech feet... :-D

copmike_mech10.jpg

You're in double trouble if Copmike gets you in his sights...

copmike_mech11.jpg

copmike_mech12.jpg

Now you're gonna get it...

Well, I'm not much of a mech builder and this is only my second mech but I had fun building it and now my homework is done for my comic as Copmike needs a mech for an upcoming issue! X-D

*wub* *wub* *wub*!

"Keep out of my way you little minifigs >:-)! I AM the law!!!!!"

Excellent Mec Moc there Hinckley - you just need to tripple the size of the biceps :-P!

Looking forward to next episode of the Walrus and the Whacker *sweet*!

Mecha Copmike On

Awesome! But I think the arms have too many joints.

Well, it just has as many joints as you :-$

I think it's ok with arms so long and without the classic Exo-Force rotating wrist ;-)

A beautiful and perfectly fitting mecha with a great body and feet design and very

charming details like these lights and that siren. And a very good idea to waive a sturdy cockpit. *y*

Only the back, although lovely ornamented, looks a little blank.

Perhaps some jetpack, just to alleviate that poor flatfoot.... :-P

Oh no!!!! :-D :-D :-D I had a jetpack, but I took it off to fix something and forgot to put it back on! Crap!! :-D :-D :-D :-P

Thanks for the nice compliments everyone!

Ths is a great mech Hinckley, I love how original and different it is! *y*

The mostly studless look of it makes it a very clean, yet very mean mech for Copmike, and the shoulder mounted cannon looks excellent aswell *sweet*

My one criticism is the guns on the hands, I would have preferred something a bit more than a technic pin :-/

Apart from that though, I really love this, and like everyone who entered the mech comp I think you've done a wonderful job!

Nothing to say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)

It looks silly. But in a good way. I mean in the fact that it looks very cartoon-y. Also, like it could blow up a building with it's Mega-Laser-Cannon-O'-Doom. It's practical, and sturdy too. I also like the blue and the open air cockpit. Nice work. Although the bronze/gold hands look a bit small and mismatched. Other thatn that, it's good.

Yeah, I saw that, too (the cartoon-y look) But I think that look is really pulled off well here, seeing as the pilot is a fabuland fig!

Still, great work Hink!

A very cool mech! Nice mecha-muscles (:-P)/armour, it looks quite intimidating! Especially with that mega cannon thing!

I just am a bit confused as to why the middle finger opf the right hand and pinkie of the left are gold instead of bronze like the rest. Still, it's a great mech! Fabuland ON! :-D

I wanted to show that his mech was worn and weather-beaten. He's a good cop and has used it in all conditions, yet the rest of it is well maintained by comparison. Copmike is a loyal member of the force and a true professional... :-)

Great work Hinckley! I especially love the feet! *wub*

It's got that" Don't mess with me I'll kick your Megablocks "look to it.

I voted for this in the contest, its way better than mine!

*y* *y*

This is great Hinckley! *wub* I feel a bit silly not entering now; I considered doing something similar but I just couldn't think of a good way to do my head... Your solution is smarter! *sweet* The feet really make the model and shout "Fabuland"... but there still is a whisper of "Technic Guy". ;-) I am surprised though that you made the limbs so spindly; you have given it such a manly torso and it makes the arms look a bit weak... 8-| However since the torso is so well designed (especially the abs and glutes :-P ) you can ignore the small flaws quite easily. I look forward to seeing what you have planned for it! X-D

Mecha Copmike On

I'm glad you like it! I'm sorry about the biceps. I'll work on that. :-P I hope you liked the addition of pink. It wouldn't be complete without it. So I figured what would be better than a pink flower fuel tank on the glutes? Or maybe I was calling you a pansy-a$$... :-P :-D :-D :-D 8-| don't hurt me. :'-(

Mecha Copmike On indeed! X-D

Thank you! *wub* But, those aren't just technic pins, those are long technic pins with friction ridges lengthwise. :-P
This is great Hinckley! I feel a bit silly not entering now;
as well you should... :-P
I considered doing something similar but I just couldn't think of a good way to do my head... Your solution is smarter!
Thanks! But I have to be honest, this was the original head:

copmike_mech13.jpg

In the long run I realized that a mech suit should go around the pilot as opposed to the pilot sitting inside the head, so I scrapped the head cockpit idea altogether, although I think I will rig it so Copmike can attach that head for autopilot mode... :-D

Thanks. Me, a technic guy? X-O Yes I thought my proportions were off, but I was running out of time and I thought I justified it by saying it was similar to a Fabuland fig's proportions. :-$ Anyway, I ended up really liking the way I constructed the biceps, but not so much the forearms.

Do you see spindliness in the legs as well, because I kind of like them they way they are. They look like the right balance of muscle to me. And I think it's hilarious that they end in those big rectangle feet...are the legs out of proportion with the torso? maybe the calves should be one stud longer, but I'm not sure...what do you think? :-$

Thanks! But I have to be honest, this was the original head:

That's pretty cool! :-D I think that looks perfect actually. My problem was that the walrus has a brown head, and without breaking my MTT I wouldn't have enough.

Do you see spindliness in the legs as well, because I kind of like them they way they are.

I should confess at this stage that Tom Platz used to be a role model for me. :-$

My perception of correct leg size probably should be ignored! :-P
