brickbitz Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 As no one here appears to have reviewed this set yet you can find my opinion at www.brickbitz.co.uk/7671.aspx It looks the part but at Quote
Corvus Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Thanks for the review! It does look expensive, but for me there's no choice! :-D Will Quote
aayla-secura Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 TKS!!! YEA FINALLY! But could you please take MORE pics?? on 2 are SHINE so we can hardly see something :-) THANKS! Quote
Batbrick Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Thankyou very much for this review brickbitz! *sweet* *y* This set looks very neat, I'm not A PT guy, but it has some nice construction! If its not too much to ask, can you take a few more overall shots of the set? Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
iamded Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 (edited) Thanks for the review! I didn't really see what the hype was about this set, and it was my least favourite of all the '08 Star Wars sets. The gunner's cockpit is terrible, just a seat and a steering wheel! I'm sure it could have been made better. This is one set I don't need to worry about. ~Peace Edited December 16, 2007 by iamded Quote
mutley777 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 A very nice set, but not so nice price *n* . I only expected this set to be around the Quote
ExoBuilder Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I didn't think this would be so expensive. Thanks for the review! Quote
Siegfried Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 It looks like a great set... with a not-so great price. I dread finding out the Australian price. :-/ Thanks very much for the review. *sweet* Quote
Piranha Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Nice Review!! The AT-AP is a pretty cool vehicle but this set had much more potential *sad* A felucia area with Aayla and Bly with foliage would have been much better Thanks for the review P Quote
hollisbrick Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 It looks like a great set... with a not-so great price. I dread finding out the Australian price. :-/ Thanks very much for the review. *sweet* same, i think it's about $60 8- Quote
natelite Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 hmm, doesn't live up to its pre-release hype. :-P i like it better before i saw it's back profile. it has such a huge a$$. :-P Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 As you can see the clones are just standard "Red" clones as seen in plenty of other sets, so nothing new there. *the above is quoted from the review* OK, that is not true. How can you say plenty of other sets? :-/ This set is this clone's second appearance. First in the Clone Battle Pack, now here. Standard? I'm just totally confused. *wacko* On the half, it's a nice build(wait, I say that to every AT walker/speeder/whatever out there :-P X-D ), but the price is insane! If it's 60 USD that's just waaay too much. Shame, Lego! Shame! Quote
Joebot Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 hmm, doesn't live up to its pre-release hype. :-P i like it better before i saw it's back profile. it has such a huge a$$. :-P HA! That was my first thought too! This baby's got some junk in the trunk. Quote
yellost Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Nice review. I like the look of that set. But damn... Quote

Belloq Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 There's something about the set I don't quite like. Maybe its the third leg, it steals away the fat chicken look this could've had, or maybe it's the exposed gunnner, what terrible positioning! :-X Great review, but I don't really like the set too much. Quote
Indy565 Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 I believe this as already been posted. Sorry :-/ Quote
Belloq Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 I believe this as already been posted. Sorry :-/ o_O Wha...........? Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Thanks for another great review, brickbitz *y* This is a pretty nice set, but i probably won't eb getting it, mainly because of the price. Does anyone know why these clones have entirely white legs rather than the usual 'black underwear over white legs'? X-D Quote

brickbitz Posted December 17, 2007 Author Posted December 17, 2007 Here are some additional images for those who asked for them. The reasons I didn't create many for my review are 1) Not impressed with the set 2) Image handling on my website is painful and the less I need the better Anyway here you go in no particular order Quote

The feeling is unanimous! :-) Quote
voltio Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I know I'm in the minority here, but I think that this set is quite good. It has the same colors and construction techniques as the 7261 CTT, so the AT-AP will look sharp displayed next to it in Clone Wars dioramas. The UK pricing is :-X , so I can see why the original reviewer is displeased, but the USA price of $40 seems fair. The only thing I can complain about are the shock troopers (we have enough from the battle packs) and the exposed gunner turret, which can be easily MOCed away by removing the seat and making it unmanned. Quote
Dino_Bot Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 That looks sweet. I wonder how much it'll go for here in America. Quote
