Didumos69 Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Haven't seen a post about this one yet. Builder is not active on Eurobricks, but this appears to be the follow-up of his impressive Subaru Impreza. I especially like the adjustable ground clearance, a very practical feature for an AWD supercar: Reproduction of the fast french supercar. Built in the classic Lego Technic Supercar style. Features : - HoG and steering wheel - W16 fake engine - AWD transmission - 6 manual gearbox (not sequential...) - Independant suspensions - Adjustable ground clearance - Adjustable spoiler - Detailed interior - Everything openable The half stud offset between the 3 driving rings in the gearbox is an idea by Thirdwigg (http://thirdwigg.com/2015/02/26/cadillac-ats/) More pictures : http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=561659 Full review (in French) : http://www.techlug.fr/Forum/topic10504.html 3D model used in the mechanical overview : http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/pipasseyoyo/Bugatti-Veyron-SS/z_bugatti_veyron_ss.lxf (LXF file openable using "Lego Digital Designer") Edited April 23, 2016 by Didumos69 Quote
syclone Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Amazing MOC! I really liked his Subaru, and now a Bugatti! Quote
JDL1967 Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Very nice car. Didumos69, maybe you can ask the builder/designer to become an EB member, so he can also post his creations here.. Quote
Thorsten50 Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Very nice Car. Du you have a complet LXF so i I can make an Pro Instruction? Quote
DrJB Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) At time-stamp 4:50, there are four gear racks placed vertically, near the front/rear suspensions. Any guess what those are for? Does the car have adjustable height, or some suspension damping mechanism (wild guess, as movie is not 'complete'), or some anti-sway bar? Edited April 23, 2016 by DrJB Quote
Didumos69 Posted April 23, 2016 Author Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Very nice Car. Du you have a complet LXF so i I can make an Pro Instruction? You will have to contact the original designer. Maybe his youtube about page helps: https://www.youtube....seyoyoMOC/about At time-stamp 4:50, there are four gear racks placed vertically, near the front/rear suspensions. Any guess what those are for? Does the car have adjustable height, or some suspension damping mechanism (wild guess, as movie is not 'complete'), or some anti-sway bar? It has adjustable height (designer also refers to this as adjustable ground clearance). Start watching from timestamp 3:00 2:53. Edited April 23, 2016 by Didumos69 Quote

tomek9210 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Hello guys, Sorry for digging up old thread, but I am working on car and I need a gearbox with single pivot point. This one looks perfect. My only concern is if it has correct gear order: 1st and 2nd gear on far right clutches, 3rd and 4th on center ones and 5th and 6th on far left. Can anyone help me with this? Any help is much appreciated :) Quote
Moran Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 will there ever be a chance for a full LXF or even instructions ? Quote

Thirdwigg Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 @tomek9210 The gearbox in the Veyron is the same one used in my ATS. Send me a PM, and I can help you on the design, or you can check this picture out. Quote
tomek9210 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Thirdwigg, thanks for help. I will check it out, build it in LDD first and see how it works. I appreciate it very much! Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 If the Veyron is already capable of housing such complex designs and functions then anything less in the Chiron would be a shame. Quote
