April 27, 20168 yr This one may not have the looks but it surely outperforms many other attampts. This is what engineering is all about, in my opinion. Excellent work! do you have links to which Dakar trucks you are referring to I am curious.
April 30, 20168 yr Author The canopy's blueprint is complete. I made it in solidworks, so it should be nearly perfect. make sure to use 12in by 12in (30.5cm x 30.5cm) paper. Edited April 30, 20168 yr by ChocolateEinstein

May 1, 20168 yr Hey I added a rotating door on the side and I am adding a second roll cage, recoloring, and adding a second set of lights. I also removed the buggy motor since I will be replacing it with a third-party RC solution for higher speed and lower cost. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7ClftNJdh9_U1VsWVQ5NDh0Nmc
May 1, 20168 yr I was looking at pictures, and I think you exaggerated the number of pillars the canopy spans over: there is only a need for 3, not 4. I also used axles instead of axles + connectors on the front cover to enforce that this represents cross bars rather than a fundamental part of the vehicle. Here is the new LXF: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7ClftNJdh9_Zm1kb1o1ZHpTZUU Edited May 1, 20168 yr by TheLegoExpert
May 1, 20168 yr Wow, just Wow! This is a pretty fast (and stable for It's speed) truck. Edited May 1, 20168 yr by XtremeBuiler

May 2, 20168 yr Added much-needed side supports for where the doors and panels will be (still have to get the trunk though.) https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7ClftNJdh9_ZDZ2QTFZbVJ3eEU
