I'm sure we all get a bit generic sometimes when leaving feedback on eBay/Bricklink etc.

But Ideas feedback has nothing to do with seller feedback. Seller feedback is important to other users, it makes a seller's reputation, and it only works if everyone does it.

Positive feedback that encourages crap creations, not only I don't see the point, but it would also make me doubt about the feedback that I receive. I know I'd prefer "it's crap" as a comment rather than "good work" like to encourage a retarded kid.

Reminds me of my youth in high school

"average high school" Yah every school has Medusa and some one turned to stone in it.

every kid wants this.

some of these are so bad its funny.

They will approve any thing to go onto voting page wont they?

I showed my kids these, they were interested in all of them except the High School, although they couldn't figure out why the one was called "Mr. Sausage."

The "Flags" is similar to a real life place near where I live called the International Peace Gardens. Its a park with grass, benches, flowers, sidewalks and flags from various countries. The "Flags" on Ideas is simple, but I could see a more complex version being viable, particularly if it had some exclusive minifigs.

A version of the flags set with actual printed flags would be nice, but these brick-built monstrosity flags will never wave in the breeze.

Printing the flags would remove most of the actual building in the model. These are pretty shabby as brick-built flags go, but it's not like buildable flags is a terrible concept for a set (whereas I'd be much less interested in a glorified accessory pack).

Mr. Sausage is actually kinda funny and surreal, not nearly as terrible as the "high school" one. The only thing that bugs me is how the bricks are inconsistently attached to each other and orientated.

This one was made by someone to promote his obscure and unpopular youtube channel. What's worse is that if you actually look at this person's youtube channel, you can clearly tell the person is around 10 or 11, and LEGO Idea's rules state you have to be 18 to submit projects to the site.

Just a bad build with terrible color coordination.

13, actually. It was originally 18, but they lowered it to 13 when they went from CUUSOO to Ideas. It's just that if you're under 18 and they approve your project, they have to get consent from your parent or guardian to produce your idea,

This is a bad build, but the description makes me think troll: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/149376

That's just hilarious.

The kid as seen on his youtube channel is still obviously underage.

Sorry for the double post.

Got another load for everyone:

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/149762

This guy is essentially just trying to bundle a bunch of minifigures and minikits from LEGO Star Wars 1 and 2. Not even his own design. He just copied the ones from the game.

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/149637

Not necessarily a bad design, but it's a mess of clashing colors and textured bricks.

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/149289

Consists of zoomed-out pictures, a messy design, and a very weird description. Has words in Russian (?) thrown in at random.

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/149572

Another classic gem.

The project with the transliterated Russian words is clearly the result of some kid typing in Russian and sending it through Google Translate, and I'm certain that's also why the wording is stunted.

"podveski" means "suspension", referring to the imaginary titanium springs mentioned elsewhere in the description.

"kosmicheskiy" is an adjective meaning "space", as in "space buggy" but I wonder why it's translated properly elsewhere and not, where it is not. Probably something to do with the full stop with no space.

Communicating in a foreign language is tough, which is why I'm grateful Eurobricks is in English.

Well then wouldn't Ideas have caught that during the submission process? They usually have fairly strict guidelines when it comes to these things.

As far as I can tell it only violates the photo framing project guideline. TLG could take it down if they wanted, but that'd be bad PR to go out of their way to dash a Russian teenager's hopes if the project isn't going anywhere anyway.

I find funny that Lightningtiger is supporting & commenting all these bad projects (probably the good ones too), like he is commenting on all the threads here on the forum... some need to leave a comment everywhere about everything ?

"Wow!!! Incredible set! Supported no 3 and following. Good luck"

These people have to have a template laid out...

They seem to want good clutch power. Anyone know what the benefit of a lot of clutch power? Mine is at 24. :def_shrug:

It's a good thing there aren't 10,000 people posting like that, or TLG would be very, very busy "reviewing" these sets.

Lego Ideas should find ways to encourage people to actually work on their designs. If a Lego representative approves of your idea at a Lego Convention, then you should have the number of required supporters lowered. By approval, I mean the representative could simply ask themselves Could this Idea work as set?

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/150040

This employs the most basic CCBS build imaginable, has no color variation within individual characters, lacks any sort of detailing, and is asking to bring back a cancelled theme, which I thought was against Ideas' rules. Not to mention how the creator didn't even think to pose them, so they look stiff and boring.

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/149670

Here's another one from the underage YouTuber.

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/149958

It's a giant black box. That's really it.
