Please put more work in your topic name next time. A topic called "Lego" doesn't really tell much here. Even so, I do agree that some the reviews are lame. The X-Wing has some good ones though.

I renamed your thread and moved it to the correct forum. I may also merge it with the topic already opened about the new review feature, but wanted to give you time to see where it was and what would happen to it... :-)

"This set is sweet! the look of it is sweet the play time will keep any person occupied for years. This Set is more of an army add-on then a army starter the set you will need to get before this one is 7655 and 7654.

Why are you still reading this when you should be buying this."

:-| He says it looks good? Wait until you get it. :-/ Have people noticed the "Top reviewer" Tag:

LEGO defines a Top Reviewer as a site user that provides numerous, helpful product reviews. A reviewer's number of reviews and the helpfulness votes for each review are combined to determine the reviewer's rank.

Hmm.

It will keep you occupied for years? That's a little overdoing it! X-D

Personally, I don't like this, I mean, who didn't predict this was going to happen?

Actually, Darwin awards are given to people who "do a service to Humanity by removing themselves from the Gene pool" (Wikipedia), i.e. get themselves killed or, er, sterilised in a stupid/embarrassing manner.

When ordering my Toa Terrain Crawler, I took a look at some reviews on the site. These were some on the first page:

"first, very big. Yes. difficult to build, but it is surprising in every way. Of all the sets I have, this is definitely the best. The minifigs are cool. And the beasts are a plus. If you are going to buy anything, buy this. But be warned of the difficulty."

Mmmmkay, on to the next one...

"iT'S A BIG SET WITH HEAPS OF PIECES IT OPENS UP AND COMES WITH A COOL ATTACK VEHICLE. THERE ARE 6 TOA AND 4 BARRAKI AND COMES WITH A CODAK BLASTER ALL TOGETHER ITS A REALLY GOOD SET."

Okay, CAPS LOCK? Are these reviews written by little kids aged 5-11 who find their way onto their parent's computers?

Wait... I just asked a pretty stupid question, didn't I?

Meh... Anyone seen stupid reviews like this? I got a laugh out of them.

Yes, sadly it seems you have answered your own question. I was surprised that Lego added this feature.

I've noticed these reviews as well  they are very funny to read, I was also somewhat surprised about these reviews, but I guess if a kid or parent reads some positive reviews they may want to buy the set more. My favorite reviews are the ones by parents who find the Lego set falls apart if a kid plays with it (by play I think they mean throw across the room :hmpf: ).

Also wasn't there already a topic on the reviews, Perhaps these two topics could be merged?
