It doesn't!  I love every single one of them, with a few favourites...

  • The Knight Templar with rare Hospitaller version is the stuff of dreams. I'd like an army of them, please - both versions!
  • And the Babushka...such a clever idea, and such a cute realisation!
  • Mother Nature is absolutely gorgeous, I love her expression.
  • The printing on the Goo Monster is genius!
  • I'd love a flock of Harpies too, please!
  • The choice of colours for the sandman is wonderful. I'm feeling sleepy now.
  • And, being a Frenchie, I cannot not love the Gaul. He's so fierce! I'd probably reuse his helmet for a Valkyrie as well...

Fantastic selection, as always Robert! My favourites absolutely are the Templar/Hospitaler, The amazing and historically accurate Gaul, the Reptilian's eerie resemblance to your Politician, The absolutely pimpin Retro Gangsta, Fantastic and savage visage of Harpy, Cleverly made Matrioshka (tho it's a little bit unfortunate due to Russia's present situation, But you couldn't ever forsee it when designing it.), The colur combinations on Sandman, Mother Nature and Goo Monster are just a delight, The steampunk robot is just a fantastic addition to already existing steampunk figs, and A.I. soldier is clearly a classic space version of Robocop. I'm running out of words of praise, so I'll save them for the grand finale. :)

YAY! Here...we...GO!

Date Night Girl: It would have been so wrong to have the Date Night Guy without the person he's going on a date tonight with. She is adorable. You know the two of them together would be so sappy-romantic that everyone else in a 50-foot radius would spontaneously develop cavities. The Valentine bunny is a good addition to the slowly growing plush collection.

Reptilian: Eh, I don't care, he still seems more trustworthy than some of the guys currently in office. What a fun concept, especially with the bonus head where the mask is only starting to slip! (It's too bad we can't really have goofy conspiracy theories like these since they always, always wind up being covers for grotesque antisemitism.)

Knight Templar/Knight Hospitaller: Why do I get the feeling this is why you introduced that big heater shield with Prince Charming? The religious overtones would probably keep LEGO from producing it for real, but it's a great concept. The swallow-tailed flag would be superb to have in whatever designs they did come up with.

Nesting Doll: Love her! I always find nesting dolls to be oddly charming. Is the body of the big one hollow so that you can put the small one inside? Lost opportunity if not.

Mother Nature: I need her. Today. Immediately. I have a similar concept I made using existing pieces, but...look, I want the hair with the flower crown, all right? (Plus if we had a hair-with-flower-crown mold, they could make it in different colors and then I could finally make a May Queen minifig!) That globe could be used in all sorts of scenes, from classrooms to astronaut adventures.

Gaul: He's perfect! The droopy mustache, the helmet and braids (which would also look lovely on a lady Viking), the shield design, the bright striped trousers, the chest scar! (He didn't get that in battle...those are claw marks!) The wargamers would be drooling.

Black Chess Queen

and

Black Chess King: I'll address these two together, since they go together, and...welp. Now the chessboard is finally complete. You seem to have gone with a black = aggressor, white = defender aesthetic, which is a little odd since in chess white moves first. I guess dark and light associations are just that strong. I like the hint of fangs in the Queen's grimace.

Goo Monster: How fun! You've brought back the trophy as scaled-down humans, which I thought was extremely clever with the Giant. This monster doesn't look very happy to be a monster. Maybe he just needs a suitably gooey habitat to live in.

Bricklayer Pig: And now we have all three! I can see that trowel coming in handy for City construction scenes. Should we expect the huffing, puffing Big Bad Wolf in Series Z, or will one of the existing anthro wolf minifigs have to suffice?

Harpy: YESSSS! I know a lot of people besides me have been hoping for one of these! I think if TLG did pull that trigger, they'd use the existing Chicken Suit torso mold, but these severe wings really suit the character. Plus it would be so easy to just swap the head out for a nicer one to make a friendly harpy (which isn't mythologically accurate at all, but let us have our fun).

Sandman: This is another case where I didn't know I needed it until I saw it here, but now I MUST have it! He's perfect! The soft gradient on his outfit with the stars! The moon emblem on his cap! That whimsical beard! Giving him the cloud tile instead of the standard black rectangle! He's so charming!

Steampunk Robot: LEGO...just give us a steampunk theme already, will ya? I'm not even into steampunk per se, but I have loved every single figure with that aesthetic that you have designed. Where's the new gear piece you mention, though?

Retro Gangsta: I guess calling him what he really is wouldn't be very LEGO family-friendly, would it? Nevertheless, this is one groooovy cat, ya dig, soul brotha? Just looking at him fills my head with 70s funk music. Repurposing the HP wand as a knobbed cane is a clever move.

A.I. Soldier: It's okay, we can tell this is Robocop with the serial numbers filed off. The Classic Space logo might be a little out of place--that's always been a cheerful, even whimsical theme, but this character type is a wee bit dystopian.

Dino Girl: Good call. It ain't just boys that love dinosaurs! The triceratops hood is a good counterpart for the T-rex one. And of course, we have a new cosplaying dog! Soon the dogs will be able to hold their own costume party!

Overall: This might be as close to a "nothing but hits" wave as we've ever seen from you! Terrific genre variety, and even the plain City figs are ones I would definitely pick up this time around. Bravo! And now we gotta wait for MAY to see the grand finale!

THE TEMPLAR IS AMAZING!! I own an off brand knight templar, but it's not nearly as good as this absolute masterpiece. Though I should say the hospitaller cross is supposed to extend across the entire torso. Also hospittalers are more recognizable wearing red with a white cross, your version looks a little like the teutonic from earlier (of course, they do also wear black and white but it looks too much like the teutonic). The new parts for the harpy seem a little unlikley. Overall I think this is one of the greatest series you've done. Great work.

I like to think that, because Classic Space logo was also used for Original Space Police theme, and because of the grey colour scheme of SPIII minifigs, It would make sense that A. I. soldier is a cybernetically enhanced Space Police officer. :)

Not really, Teutonic knights wore exclusively white (or grey for servant brothers) surcoats with black cross, While hospitalers wore the opposite, black or red with white cross. Also, templar knight sargeants wore black surcoats with red cross, to add to the confusion. XD

*oh2*

Thanks!

@Karalora @williejmThe gear in the conected using the bracket neck piece.

You can barely see it right above the "shoulders" of the minifigure.

Its similar to the Series 6 Clockwork Robot with the wind-up key

About the Nesting Doll. No, you cant put the small one inside because the hole at the bottom would need to be wide enough for a minifigure head to go inside. If you think of the piece as a 3D mold, the body piece would need to be way out of proportion.

At least, that was my estimation

Oh! I entirley forgot that the teutonics were white on black rather than black on white (my bad) I do think the red outfit with white cross might be more recognizable, for me at least, and I think it makes more sense that this, being an alternate version of the templar, would use a similar color scheme to the templar. I do actually like the black coloration better though.

I guess proper nesting dolls split at the widest part for just that reason. She's still extremely cute.

Lovely series, as always! I want, as in desperately want, that Sandman and that Harpy at the very least, but Retro Gangster, Purple Goo Monster, Mother Nature, Templar Knight and Dino Girl are also standouts for me! Two thumbs up!  And the Gaul! Can't believe I forgot him!

Hi @Robert8, thank you for again bringing us these amazing custom minifigure series. Had a busy day today, but it always makes me so happy to see these show up every few months. As always, I greatly enjoy every figure in the series. I want to take a moment to highlight a couple that stand out for me:

Date Night Girl: Adorable, I love seeing these two together . They are perfect for a city display, they are a must have. Your characters have so much personality.

Nesting Doll: Perfectly executed. I love the designs. This has been an idea I've wanted to see for a long time, thanks for including it!

Goo Monster: The attention to detail is great! The ribcage inside, the bright color, and printed microfigures. It reminds me of your Giant from Series O, another of my favorites.

Sandman: This is one I didn't expect to show up! Lovely! The gradient effect is really cool, and I like how you included the cloud.

Steampunk Robot: Absolutely. Marvelous. *oh2* These steampunk figures you make are truly incredible. At the end, we should make a pic of the whole lineup!

AI Soldier: Interesting concept, and I think you executed it well! There are figures scattered throughout these series I never would have thought of.

Gaul: Probably one of the best this wave. I adore every part of it, so great job! He caught me off guard how much I like this figure. It stands out.

Gangsta: Wow, really creative! Hmm, I think the primary red color could be more vibrant. But there's already so much on him, I dunno if it would look good. That's just my take.

Dinosaur Lad: I'm surprised how much I like this one. Btw, have you ever read Xenozoic Tales or played the arcade? There's a lot of fun concepts in that series for MOCs, figure designs, or both.

Overall, a great series. Even with few spots left, I am glad that many of these concepts made it in. I even get a chance to learn about stuff I didn't know prior. Thank you for putting so much effort into your designs. Everyone here would be honored to have them in their collection. I sincerely look forward to seeing the conclusion in May, as bittersweet it will be!

Another masterfully done series.

The Gaul is personal favourite followed closely by the Sandman.

Whilst I do like like the figures I am glad to see the chess set finished as you had rather written yourself into a corner with them, and having them finished them before the last series leaves more surprises for that.

Come to think of it, chessmen would make more sense as its own, separate CMF wave. There are six shapes (King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook, Pawn) in two colors for a total of 12 possible minifigs.
