Digger of Bricks Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 (edited) OMG Robert!!! There's just too much to love with this Series! Totally worth the wait!!! For me, this Series' standouts have to be Mother Goose, that Gunslinger, the Park Ranger with that adorable fawn, Frankenstein's Bride, and of course, a most perfectly-done Archaeologist CMF!!! Karalora Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Magnificent, @Robert8! The Monster Bride is one that I'm baffled hasn't actually been made yet. The Park Ranger would be an instant chaser with that fawn, and likewise the Shepherd with the black lamb. I love the Centaur's hair, which would work equally well for a feral elf. The Oni, I notice, has blue skin. Can we expect a red one in the future? Quote
Agent Kallus Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) Oooh lovely, just lovely. My favourite has to be one of the penultimate 4 (Going from the list in the post now the leaflet) but I can't single out one cause they're all great. Edited February 2, 2020 by Agent Kallus Quote
Digger of Bricks Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Say Robert, given that the Gunslinger's hat/hair combo is a fedora rather than a typical cowboy hat, do you perhaps have ulterior motives for it down the road? Maybe you have that one female counterpart to the Adventurer you've mentioned earlier in mind for it? Quote
Robert8 Posted February 2, 2020 Author Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) Thanks for the coments. And yes. The Treasure Hunter will reuse that fedora+hair combo 2 hours ago, Karalora said: Magnificent, The Oni, I notice, has blue skin. Can we expect a red one in the future? Yes. ToaIruini Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Great series Robert! My favorites are Cupid, Monster Bride, and Retro Wrestler! But really, I am part of the crowd that has wanted a centaur minifigure since the dawn of time, so that minifigure is easily one of the best you've ever made. Even the hairpiece and distribution are good My only critique is that many figures this time are very specific, like from stories. In the future, will there be more generic unnamed characters, or will they continue to be referencing something? Quote
Huigberts Builds Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) Wow, looking good as always. And just when we heard about the actual Lego centaur. This is exactly how I would imagine the mold to look like. I also love the beefeater. He looks so interesting. Also (and I might be a bit late) but that Advent Calendar was amazing as well. Makes me wish Lego would actually do something like that. Edited February 2, 2020 by Huigberts Builds Noticed the advent calendar Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Most of your figures are actually more interesting than most of the actual figures happening in the series. Quote
Roebuck Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Fawn Happy that you included several animals this time And the Sheppard with a sheep is long overdue in Lego CMF The centaur lover body looks exactly like i think the Lego one will look like How much smaller is it than the normal horse? Quote
Nerd-with-a-Pencil Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 I knew I saw a Bride of Frankenstein type in the blur image. Seeing her for real, she's definitely my favorite of the series! Well, her or the centaur. Quote

Robert8 Posted February 2, 2020 Author Posted February 2, 2020 Thank everyone you for your feedback! I'm glad to see that after 4 years there is still interest on my work 5 hours ago, Roebuck said: How much smaller is it than the normal horse? I used the current horse body as reference. It's around 3 plates shorter in terms of height. And 1 stud shorter in terms of lenght 12 hours ago, ToaIruini said: My only critique is that many figures this time are very specific, like from stories. I guess Stoyteller, Monster Bride, Harlequin and Shepherd are the ones who fall into this category. I'd say Series S is similar.... I think. There are some characters like from novels and stories like these one. Quote
DarrellBricker Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 You've done it again, Robert! This is an awesome series with something for (almost) everyone. I have been wanting a Monster Bride and the Centaur since the dawn of the CMFs, and these look amazing, easily the standouts for me this time around. The Retro Wrestler ... wow, you gave me something I never even knew I wanted! And the Physicist is perfect, too! I want EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of these. Amazing work, per usual. Quote
Aurore Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 This serie is awesome! If only TLG woulld be as inspired as you are with animals and prints... I'd definitely buy a whole army of park rangers, shepherds, centaurs and storytellers! Quote
Grover Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Can TLG just hire you to design the upcoming series? I have liked all your series better than the last oh, 10-15 from TLG! Quote
The Reader Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 @Robert8, that's amazing! Why don't you apply at TLG as a designer? I would definitely go for the Archaeologist, the Monster Bride, the Physicist, the Gunslinger and the Storyteller. Quote
