Robert8 Posted September 22, 2020 Author Posted September 22, 2020 You'll find out this Thursday Quote

ToaIruini Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 This Thursday is one week before next Thursday, October 1 when the series will come out. Usually a teaser is shared a week in advance where it will be revealed the format of this unusual series (calendar, or something new entirely, etc). Quote

I see you go in the opposite way of Lego Yeah.... the timing is awful in that regard But this is something I've working on since like early 2019 I was originally going to post it last year, but I didn't want two calendars going back to back............. and funnily enough, there will be 2 calendars back to back after all because I'm going to post a second advent calendar this year (which is something I didn't plan to) Quote
Eggyslav Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 A great way to make Spooktober nice this year! Quote

Given how surprisingly educational your Christmas calendar was, that "scary characters from around the world" tidbit sounds like it'll be promising just as much... Quote
ToaIruini Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Sounds like a great idea! 31 gives you a lot of space to cover minfigures that each of us will like, monsters, some legends, obligatory costumed characters, etc) And the calendar format works well because Halloween is at the end of the month and leads up to it. williejm Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 It’s just 31 zombified versions of earlier figures, right @Robert8 ?? Quote

Haha no As far as I can tell, none of these can be considered a rehash I tried to include a bit of everything: classic horror monsters, cryptids, real life horror stuff, trick or treaters, Tim Burton-styled characters, comic horror, urban legends, even recent pop culture horror characters Quote

I can't WAIT to see all of these! you could say i'm...DYING to see them! *organ riff* Quote
