ToaIruini Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Great! I’ve always wanted to see this made as a figure! Quote
Robert8 Posted October 16, 2020 Author Posted October 16, 2020 Thanks everyone for your replies 6 hours ago, Nerd-with-a-Pencil said: Now THIS is a character that I've wanted in a CMF series for years. You pulled off the design really well! I've wanting for years to do this one , I'm surprised it hasn't happened in a real CMF. Just like the Phantom of the Opera, Igor and others in this calendar Heck, even the S4 Crazy Scientist's bio was hiting Igor was coming soon, but it never happened 7 hours ago, Karalora said: I like the grayscale look. Is it because he's from an old black and white movie or does he just dress Like That? Hmmm I think the colors is because... well.... he is not actually invisible.... its just someone in a trench coat. With bright colored clothes he would have looked too "normie". So I gave him a creepier vibe using just black, white and gray Quote
DarrellBricker Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Oh, well done - and well done with no new molds or parts, a design that Lego could EASILY do ... but probably won't :( Excellent work, AGAIN!, Robert ... love this! Quote

Nerd-with-a-Pencil Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Man, you're really going all out with these! If there was only one of your series I could pick to make physical, this would be the one. Quote
ToaIruini Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Your minifigures continuously surprise me! Amazing work! Quote
Robert8 Posted October 18, 2020 Author Posted October 18, 2020 18. Animatronic Part assortment (6 pieces): Teddy Bear. Cap with propeller. Regular head, torso and legs. Quote
Eggyslav Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Five Nights in Legoland would be a cool horror game! Quote
Nerd-with-a-Pencil Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 This is bringing back memories I'm not sure I'd like to relive...the design is great though! And now my game designer brain is figuring out how a character like this would work in a FNAF type game hh Quote

LegoGuy03 Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Interesting choice to make the animatronic humanlike instead of more like an animal. It reminds me a lot of Balloon Boy from FNAF. (The series itself must have definitely inspired the concept of this minifig.) Quote

As well as the Simpsons episode when the animatronics go crazy in "Itchy and Scratchy Land" Quote
Karalora Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 The FNAF influence shows in the teddy bear, obviously, but the minifig's expression is very reminiscent of the animatronic characters, with the droopy eyelid and the TEETH. Quote
Robert8 Posted October 19, 2020 Author Posted October 19, 2020 19. Werewolf Woman Part assortment (5 pieces): New molded head. Skeleton torso in tan. Tail piece. the Series 15 Faun legs. Regular torso. Cloth skirt introduced with the Series N Zombie Woman Quote
LegoGuy03 Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Oh man, a female werewolf was a minifigure I always wanted to see and even planned to make at one point for my one of my own CMFs in the future! Really like how yours turned out, especially with the head mold! Quote
Digger of Bricks Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 These last three have all been excellent! Cthulhu is simple yet perfect, the Animatronic is a rather novel idea for a CMF, and yikes, that ribcage accompanying the Werewolf Woman is awfully grim... 13 hours ago, Robert8 said: FNAF was definetly an inspiration, as you can tell. Really like how yours turned out, especially with the head mold! I'm surprised TLG hasn't made one yet. They seem to love werewolves, but so far all of them have been male: Studios, CMFS4, Monster Fighters and CMFS14 (Plus Lupin, but they had no choice there) 1 hour ago, Digger of Bricks said: These last three have all been excellent! Karalora Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 LEGO isn't alone; hardly anyone ever portrays werewolves as female. (Two exceptions from fantasy literature: Discworld and the Dresden Files.) I assume it's because most people are made uneasy by the thought of a strong, violent, hairy woman. Nuts to them, I say! Equal rights for lycanthropes! Anyway, I love her! That ribcage accessory is just the right amount of grim! Quote
Robert8 Posted October 19, 2020 Author Posted October 19, 2020 (edited) I remember one in Scooby Doo tho Also Cheetah is a pretty popular character from DC comics and she is violent, strong and hairy Edited October 19, 2020 by Robert8 Quote
ToaIruini Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Pretty cool. Btw @Robert8, had you considered making a werecat character? I think that would be a great figure I’d enjoy seeing. Quote

But I the list was too long and I only needed 31 so werecat was cut for the final thing :/ (Mostly because the Series 14 Tiger Girl is already a werecat according to her bio) Alraune, Swamp Thing, Pumpkin Head Monster, Mud Monster, Jack the Ripper, Spring Heeled Jack, Wendingo and a couple of Yokai are among the characters who didn't make the final cut :/ Quote

Maybe next year? Quote
