Merry Christmas to you, and thanks for this present! Quote
ToaIruini Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Merry Christmas @Robert8 and thank you for continuing to share your ideas for cmfs! I look forward to seeing these every couple months. Hmm, this time it looks like a figure based off Jafar, and the second one is a siren? They both look very cool so far. Quote
Robert8 Posted December 25, 2021 Author Posted December 25, 2021 Thanks! They are Sultan and Evil Mermaid Quote
lifeinplastic Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Merry Christmas All - looking forward to these, as always! Quote
Karalora Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Choosing the same release date as an actual CMF wave, bold move! Series 22 is pretty good, but given your history and TLG's, I know which one I'd prefer to have (hint: it's not the one we're actually getting). That genie bottle alone is a keeper! Quote
Aurore Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Oh, great news! And great teaser - I agree with @Karalora, that bottle is already gorgeous! Quote
Lion King Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Oooo i can’t wait to see. Seires X this New Year’s Day! Quote

Agent Kallus Posted January 1, 2022 Posted January 1, 2022 Love these, great to see another series. Enchantress is the top spot for me but they're all great. Quote
Lion King Posted January 1, 2022 Posted January 1, 2022 Happy New Year! another great sereis!! I love Olympian Archer, Plauge Doctor, Evil Mermaid, Comedian, Enchantress and Golem! Excellent work. I would use Plague Doctor’s mask for Venetian festival idea! Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Starting the New Year off right! Gotta say my favorites this time around are the Evil Mermaid, Steampunk Adventuress, and the Golem. Quote
Karalora Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 I'm practically drooling; these are so awesome! I'll say it again--why can't yours be the actual ones? I very much want an Evil Mermaid/Siren for my collection (in the meantime I've made do with kitbashing one out of existing parts), and I didn't know I wanted a 19th-Century bustle skirt until you designed one! ToaIruini Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Omg @Robert8, what an amazing series! These series are really going out with a bang! I love all of them. Wild West Lady: I love it, great idea! I just wish the hairpiece contrasted more in color. Does that hairpiece come in black? Combined Mecha: WOAH, nostalgia. You executed this perfectly, thanks for including it! I love the colors and the great part usage, even the face print, the small details. Sultan: I love the small details on this one, and the colors work surprisingly well. I don’t have a use for Sultan but would probably pick up a few. Parade Dancer: now this one is seriously impressive - out of the whole series, this one I’d like to hold in my hand the most. I can envision it being a sight to behold in real life, the headless and sparkles stand out. Great work on this one. Comedian: great job taking a straightforward idea and turning it into something real interesting. Steampunk Lady: That skirt and torso print are beautiful, and I would love to have that compass (many of them). Golem: this makes me miss Power Miners. Thanks for including this one, I think I’ve talked about power miners in the past so seeing this one was a nice surprise. I love it. Olympian Archer: This fig is great, I’d love another Winged Warrior style fig, like from Series 15. But really, all of them are amazing and well done. I always have so much fun looking through them. You’re making it really hard to end this in May . I hope you have a great new year, and I hope you like reading my comments. Quote
Robert8 Posted January 2, 2022 Author Posted January 2, 2022 (edited) Thank you for the comments! I'm glad you liked these I had to make some rearrangements because I thought Series 22 was going to be more City-ish, so I made this one a fantasy heavy series. There were like 0 characters from City. But I was pleasantly surprised Series 22 was a nice mix of different genres, so I went back to this series and included the Electrician and the Comedian Also, I didn't plan to make an Apollo minifigure, but because so many of you were mentioning him, I decided to replace the grenlim that was originally here 2 hours ago, ToaIruini said: Omg @Robert8, what an amazing series! I did enjoy reading them a lot With the Wild West Lady, I had the idea that she was Calamity Drone before Lord Business translated her consciousness into a robot, but I dropped the idea. She was originally blonde. That idea was me kind of trying to make sense to why Lord Business gave breasts to a robot Also, I'm really proud of the Steampunk Explorer Probably my fav steampunk of the ones I've made The Parade Dancer took me a long to figure it out. This is obviously a samba dancer from the Rio Carnival but really a child-friendly version. So, my reference were actually pics of kids who parade in the carnival. Also, I thought about making her a female counterpart to the Vidiyo S2 Carnival Dancer, but I went with the brazil flag colors instead Edited January 2, 2022 by Robert8 Quote
