So I get the same problem after registering this build in its seperate thread - the settlement size and trade value did not change. Is something wrong with this months account summary sheet?

Edit: I just noted that this time I also got no DB at all (instead of the expected 2DB). I could not care less about the 2DB, but this is not how it is supposed to work.

@Drunknok It looks like everything is correct. You are receiving 55 DBs from 4 free builds and 2 mini-challenge submissions. The increase to the settlement size occurs in the month subsequent to when the form was submitted, and these are appearing in the June sheet.

I'm not on the summary sheet at all :sceptic:, is that a mistake or is this done a month in arrears?

I don't like Corries so I make them wait a while before adding them.

You are now added.

Ah, fair enough.

Is this something that was recently implemented? Because I think my first build for the North Quarter - in terms of build submittal and settlement/trade growth identical to the others - did show up in the account summary sheet. The two other ones did not.

I should also have recieved 4DB for those other two builds, which I did not. Again, this is not "about the money". I just wonder if the system actually works correctly.

And what version of presenting my builds is easier for the system to handle? One thread per build, or "one thread to rule them all" with build submittals referring to individual posts? I prefer the second version, since it does not clutter the forum with lots of threads. But I also want the builds to be registered correctly...

You are referring to freebuilds, right? If something is showing up now, it is most likely from April. This rule has been in place since the beginning of the game.

As for the doubloons, I show that you have 10 DBs each for the first three freebuilds, 10 DBs each for the two mini-challenge submissions, and 5 DBs for your fourth freebuild, totaling 55 DBs. All your submissions for May are included. I'm not sure what other two builds you are referring to, but it is possible they need to be resubmitted. Check your submissions using this listing tool, and if something is missing, go ahead and re-submit it.

The safest option is to have separate topics.

I have also submitted this build as well as this one. Both show up in my "freebuild list" for May, but seem to not have resulted in DBs. For now I will simply assume that anything related to settlement size and trade value will be accounted for in the June account summary sheet. I will bring it up again otherwise. All is well for now, thanks a lot. :classic:

Thank you for the link, I actually was not aware of that one.

I will go with this option from now on then, thank you.

I do apologize about the delay. Phred is a little busy with real life, and I don't have access to edit the April account summary. As soon as I get access, they will be added.

No need to apologize! Real life takes precedence over a game. Thanks for working on it!

CG, don't forget to add the NPC pirates' MRCA revenues. I think four of them actually earned some DBs through trading.

They should have been added automatically. If you could name the pirates in question, I'll see what happened.

Bluebeard, Harrison Torn, LeColeon, and Montroy.

@Phred/ @Captain Genaro would it be possible to add a column to the settlement status sheet that shows the number of plantations in a settlement? It's not a huge deal or anything, it would mainly just to help work out what is licensed and what isn't for the settlement pages. Just seems strange it's the only property type not included on the sheet - I'm guessing it was something to do with the original 'hinterland' rules?

I can look into it. The purpose of the parity is to show how many more builds of a certain type are needed to advance to the next level. Since plantations are not relevant to growing a settlement's status, they were not included.

I just registered this build as a freebuild, and my account got updated with the according number of DB. What got not updated though was the settlement size of Mesabi Landing - and now I wonder if the mistake is on my side or the system.

Most of the time, people have one build with one topic, which was easy to automate calculations.  You are correct. Once you have licensed a build in a topic, any new builds in that topic won't be counted towards trade value or settlement size as a build submittal.  You still get your funds.  However, the topic ID gets an expiration date from the first build being licensed and anything in the topic will no longer count towards the settlement size and trade value.  Once you have licensed another build in the same topic, both builds have settlement size and trade value counted towards the settlement.

Properties don't really have a good label like ships having names do.  Plus, accounts license other's builds. Because build submittals count towards settlement size and trade value, using the topic ID was the best I could do ensuring build submittals that count towards settlement size don't get double counted.

Interesting. I appreciate the detailed explanation, and will keep it in mind for the future. Thanks a lot!
