FYI. Property license expenses are tied to the settlement location and yields are tied to the owner's faction. You assigned the property to a Corrington settlement, so you have Corrington discounts and paid your license cost toward Corrington. Your yield is tied to Eslandola, so it will have the Eslandolian bonus. Quote

Elostirion Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Another case of "please make that 100% clear in the rules" Quote
Kai NRG Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 (edited) Does this make it clear? (The parenthesis "not... build" is the recently added clarification.) If you build legally within your own faction’s territory, a fee is paid upfront to your faction for right to use the land. This fee is included in the license fee. If you build legally on another faction’s territory you will pay the same fee (not to your own faction, but to the faction in whose territory you build) but you may also be susceptible to a rent established by that faction. The government of the other faction is also able to seize your property (except in the case of forts, in which case a military engagement will have to be fought). That's under the first section in the properties post. Edit: Actually, I guess it doesn't quite explain the precise difference given the faction bonuses. The fact is, those were a subsequent addition. I'll have to think about how to word that... Edit II: Okay, maybe this is better: If you build legally within your own faction’s territory, a fee is paid upfront to your faction for right to use the land. This fee is included in the license fee. If you build legally on another faction’s territory you will pay the same fee a member of that faction would pay (not to your own faction, but to the faction in whose territory you build) but you may also be susceptible to a rent established by that faction. The government of the other faction is also able to seize your property (except in the case of forts, in which case a military engagement will have to be fought). In the case of faction bonuses, the above rules mean that license discounts are tied to the faction on whose land you build; yield bonuses, however, are tied to the faction to which the builder belongs. See below for more details on specific bonuses. Edited November 1, 2016 by Kai NRG Quote
Capn Frank Posted November 1, 2016 Author Posted November 1, 2016 November 2016 Account Summary Quote
Bregir Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 There is something entirely wrong with the ETTC accounts. In my reckoning, we should have cash reserves of 1.999 db, but in this sheet it only amounts to 238. I am thinking this is due to misplacement of the latest MRCA outcomes for the vessels: Belson (Formerly Heart of Eslandia) HMS Sparta Golden Filly all owned by the company. Further, the sheet only assigns a monthly property income of 10 db, while it should be 20 db, for a warehouse in King's Harbour and one in Mooreton Bay. (Both medium commerce) Let me know if this leads to any questions. Thank you in advance. Quote
Bregir Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Have you had any chance to take a look at the above? I can forward my own accounts in case there should be any doubts. Quote
Capn Frank Posted November 15, 2016 Author Posted November 15, 2016 Sorry about that. The following ships have been changed to ETTC in MRCA. Belson (Formerly Heart of Eslandia) - was Corrington HMS Sparta - was Fuzzy MacFuzz Golden Filly - was Puvel Quote
Bregir Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Thanks, @Phred. I can't seem to get an email with the properties licensed in the name of ETTC. It seems there is only 10 dbs in property income, while it should be 20, suggesting that one of the properties has been licensed wrongly. These two properties should be licensed for the ETTC: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=137423 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=137784 Quote
Tomsche Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Phred, is it possible the transaction I entered yesterday, 200 dbs from me towards the MAESTRO account hasn`t passed? Quote

I'm not Phred, but I was able to fix the issue. When you filled out the form, you selected "Trade Company" for "Are you paying as a trade company or an individual?" As such, the system thought you were simultaneously transferring money to MAESTRO from your account and transferring money to your account from MAESTRO. Quote
Tomsche Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 *pointy head, drooly drop in corner of mouth* Thanks Cap. One day, I promise I`ll master the finesse of the transaction form Quote

Kolonialbeamter Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Just entered two large art and culture properties. They should be free, as they represent two large licenses I got in Ch.IV. Could you take care of this? Many thanks As these micro-build required free licenses will be around more often in the future, could it be a good idea to somehow make this a checkbox option in the licensing forms (properties + ships)? Kolonialbeamter Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 There seems to be a mistake in OL's property yield... it appears way too high (4006) compared to November (873) - well, not really complaining... Or did we introduce slavery, and I didn't get the memo? Quote
Capn Frank Posted December 3, 2016 Author Posted December 3, 2016 9 hours ago, Kolonialbeamter said: There seems to be a mistake in OL's property yield. Factions currently only collect taxes from all properties, including their own properties. For now, a multiplier is added to ensure that faction properties receive the correct amount of yield. It'll get fixed at some point. Quote

To add to what Phred said ,if you look at the ending and beginning values, we're not earning anywhere near that. Like all factions, we only earn what is in the Total Income column. 12 hours ago, Kolonialbeamter said: Or did we introduce slavery, and I didn't get the memo? Elostirion Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 I would really like to have an option to permanently see all in- and outgoing transactions to and from my account. It's become so much that it's hard to keep track. I know you can manually set those up, but is there a way to automate it? Quote
Kwatchi Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Hi Phred It looks the the small cultural build Shrine of Poseidon, which was the grand prize for my mini-challenge last month, did not get successfully transferred to the winner Nivremis. Did that got lost in the bustle, or should I redo the transfer form? -Kwatchi Quote

The license for this property was paid for at the end of November. At what date is the license supposed to be transferred from your name to Nivremis'? Quote
Elostirion Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Great, thank you so much for all your effort, Phred! Quote
