Posted May 17, 20168 yr Hey everyone, I would like to present my first modular building. I called it "cornerpark". It's build with 978 bricks. Get Instruction Flickr Album I tried to create a building, which you can use in different combinations to other modulars. - as inner corner bulding - as standalone building - as end of a street building Edited November 15, 20204 yr by needyblue Add instruction Link, Add Flickr Link, Update pics
May 17, 20168 yr Author That's really good, does anyone think we will get an internal corner modular? I don't think so. Because most inner corner buldings have a small frontview. And most people like large and beautiful frontviews. (As the brickbank and others)
May 17, 20168 yr An inner corner modular is a good idea, and you carried it out well. The corner entrance looks nice and the statue in the pool makes good use of Nexo Knight shields
May 17, 20168 yr That's a great idea - it looks fantastic next to the Brick Bank. Excellent stuff - I love the cobblestone effect with the use of 1x1 round tiles, and the brick built tree is lovely. I always love to see a nice brick built tree!
May 18, 20168 yr A fresh addition to the modular craze. I'd like to see a park like this with a gazebo. That'd look nice I think.
May 18, 20168 yr Love the corner park idea! Would like to add something like this to our modular theme too! Feeling inspired =) Btw, we have the same laminated flooring as you :)
May 18, 20168 yr I don't think so. Because most inner corner buldings have a small frontview. And most people like large and beautiful frontviews. (As the brickbank and others) What could work is a building that is designed to work as both an inner and outer corner.
May 18, 20168 yr Great work here! The garden is excellent and I like how you did the trash basket with grill tiles The use of Nexo Knight shields on the statue is superb as well
May 18, 20168 yr I'm sorry, but an inner corner is a terrible idea - they just don't exist in real life, certainly not a 90° ones. That said, this is wonderful! I really like the fact that it can work as both an inner or outer corner and look fitting either way. My only complaint would be it's a bit 'concrete' - some more foliage growing up the back walls behind the garden beds would really soften such an urban public space.
May 18, 20168 yr That is great, I really like the statue. I've been looking(well, waiting for 40221 Fountain polybag next month) for the square portion of my town. I really like the water bit added. The whole build is really good.
May 18, 20168 yr This is a very well executed concept here. You nailed the feeling of "almost nature, just not quite" with the muted tones and the way they play with all of the grays and browns around them, it's kind of humorously unsettling in some weird way.
