Hi Everyone. Does anyone have any ideas where to order names plates for minifigs? I have all of my Star Wars minifigs on shelves within frames. I'd like to have name plates beneath each minifig with the name and year of that particular minifig. I've seen it done on the odd YouTube Video and I kinda like the look of it.

I have around 250 Star Wars minifigs but if the cost is ok I'll extend it to my Batman minifigs and Marvel ones also.

I'd like to know where to get these from too actually! Have a couple of studs underneath each of my minifis in a hope that I'll be able to get something like this done so if anybody knows it'd be greatly appreciated :D

I know of a place in Germany! At steindrucker.com you can custom print words or pictures on Lego pieces. There are probably similar services in other countries, but I don't know any of them. A Google search of Lego tile printing could yield some results.

My only concern would be - printing an excess (at least 250, you say...) of very individual or one-off pieces/ parts seems like it could quickly become expensive. Have you thought about making your own decals to then attach to a tile? I understand if your OCD might forbid you from doing so, but way cheaper, and at least, in the end, the parts are still salvageable should you part with any of your figs....

I've had a look at pricing over the last couple of days and the price would would £1-£2 each minifig. That's a heck of an investment in a large collection. I'd be interested in looking into decals if anyone can point me in the right direction on where to actually start please.

I think the cost may be justified if it looked spot on but I don't think I'd be doing all of them in one go!
