I wonder though what they'll include in the Guavian set: 2 Guavians, Bala-Tik, Han & Chewbacca (5 figs sounds right for a € 80 set), a brick built Rathtar....and for the rest? a few hallways?

I think this has potential to be a great play set  I totally expect the designers to include a mechanism to release the Rathtar(s) and/or a trapdoor to save Finn :classic: However, if those two features are in the set, they'd have to include both Finn and Rey, which they probably won't because of the Quadjumper that also requires their presence... Hm :hmpf_bad:

If the details are correct, it's going to be another inexpensive year for me.... :look:

Perhaps I'm getting to old for this - but I can't muster any enthusiasm for any of the Rebels or Freemaker sets.

I've spent virtually nothing this year thanks to the totally mediocre UCS 'offerings' - even with the recent triple VIP points I couldn't bring myself to order Insult on Hoth,  Hopefully TLG have got something really magical planned for 2017, although I think that I may have said that about 2016!  The only sets which may be on my list to date are the new Landspeeder, provided that it includes a couple of Sandpeople, and possibly Vader's Transformation.

Second (and third?!) set(s) aside, I'm intrigued to see the changes to the snowspeeder. I thought 10129 was pretty perfect and I'm not sure how much better it can be made, cockpit hatch aside.  If they do something expected with the other slot (because at this point everyone expects either another falcon or ISD right?) then they'll have redeemed themselves.

I hope the Guavian set doesn't have Han, Chewie, Finn and Rey. Id much rather the set be an actual Gang, maybe with a playset based on the interior of the ship Han and Cheque were flying. Rathtar would be great too, maybe something similar to the portal on the Doctor Strange set.

If this information is true, the rathtar should definitely be in the Guavian set for $80. That would be a total tease if they didn't put one. Pretty excited for this summer wave if the source is reliable and I'm happy to see no rebels and very few Freemaker sets!

shouldn't someone update the first post on this thread  with the current set info we got? i still see the yoda´s hut as a possible set when we know its the starfighter and a lot of NAMEs placeholders...or ar we waiting for an official press release

Those sets make very little sense - the Death Gang set has zero potential to be that expensive, the Quadjumper is barely in the movie, two more OT battlepacks seems very weird...

Also, the summer wave usually has at least one 100+ dollar set.

I'm shocked. No Rebels sets? Will we ever get the Mandalorian ships in black or red (Maul's), Ketsus awesome ship, "the outrider", Malachorplayet?
No S3 updated outfits, helmet for Sabine & Rex, Hondo, Pryce, Seventh sister, Maul!?
Even if the hovertank would be from Rebels, it would include probably just 2 desired characters. It's even bad strategy, kids will want to have S3 Ezra.

Guys, it's a rumors list. It's quite likely we'll get sets not on the list from Hothbricks including Rebels sets. Let's not bad mouth TLG when we don't have all the info.

I agree with Josh on this; For all we know, the set names could simply be placeholders concealing what the actual sets will be. Remember the yoda's hut set that ended up being his straighter from the Clone Wars. Nothing is set in stone.

I quite like the list that is 'rumoured' a couple of nice inclusions. I think we will have to be satisfied with odd releases during movie years.

Since the battlepacks are for IV-VII its possible one will be a better first order battlepack. It would also be good if one has a shore trooper but who knows. The Vader transformation set should be good to get a new burned Anakin/Vader and possibly a medical droid or two. The lack of Rogue One sets is curious but I'm still betting on an AT-ACT set at least since they'd be stupid not to make it. I've always liked the hovertank from the only two Battlefront games (yes there is only two) and if it is the 2-M tank then I'm fine with that. Unless the other sets are amazing there a hard pass for me. I hope Ep VIII has many totally new vehicles so TLG won't have to resort to ships that blew up after a second of screentime again.

I don't understand how you don't want a ship that appeared for around 10 seconds but still want characters like Zuvio and Bobbajo who were on screen for just about the same time.

just my thought

Thinking about it, it'd really not make sense for Lego not to produce any Rebels sets. An ongoing show is the best source material to base sets on. Given the copious amounts of TCW sets we got, I'd say that Rebels sets should be a given each wave.

I just realized that maybe one of the freemaker ships will be Dengars personal one as it is shown in the series.

That's plausible. Do you have a picture of it?

Well there are a few interesting personalities in the freemaker adventures. For instance Bespin Lando. There is an episode on Bespin where the Freemakers have to return Lando's cape. And a podrace with Ben Quadrinaros playing a role in it. I believe there a lots of Aqualish and Trandoshans in the series too and they have a baby wampa on Hoth.

So they probably put in each set a figure we 'need' :-s

I don't have the picture from the series but this is what the ship looks like.

I think the quadjumper is very possible. The fans on /r/starwars were practicly begging for merch of that ship the when movie came out.

Which I don't quite understand, since it's a vehicle that was seen in the movie for literally 1 minute or less, until it's blown to pieces. And it kinda looks like a simple podracer...but whatever floats their boats I guess...
