October 20, 20168 yr On the one hand 75179 can be a rebel hangar of Home 1, but on the other hand next year is a 40th anniversary of episode IV. It even can be a UCS.

October 20, 20168 yr Would you guys rather a rebel hanger from Return of the Jedi or A New Hope? Which one is more likely???

ANH would make more sense, both in the aspect that you can see more from outside. I wish they would make something similar to the Ewok Willage, but also because it is the ANH that is in focus for the celebration next year
October 20, 20168 yr The A-wing pilot polybag will be available in the U.K., for the whole of December with purchases over £25. edit. Got it wrong. 11th-31st Dec sorry if that doesn't belong in this thread, but might be of use to some people. edit: completely wrong year! Can't seem to delete it sorry. Brickset has the set tagged as Episode VI and its already rumoured to come with Lando, a Rebel Pilot and Technician. As much as I'd love a Yavin IV set I'd rather see Lego release the entire temple instead of just the hanger.

October 21, 20168 yr Just now, Mooste said: So that mean a Nebulon frigate hangar than? In my opinion it could be MC 80 "Home 1".
October 21, 20168 yr It can only be one of the two options. I'm assuming Mooste did actually mean the MC80 Home One when referring to it as the Nebulon frigate. I'd always thought that it wouldn't be Yavin because Lego like to have conflict possibilities in sets like this and it wouldn't make sense to have Imperials there but even a Home One hangar wouldn't have Imperials (the last one didn't either). If it's listed at BrickSet as a ROTJ set then that's the closest thing we have to a rumour as opposed to a guess. Lego also have a habit of including figures in sets that were missed out of other sets so this would be a good way of including Nien Nunb as he was omitted from the TFA wave and the same design would work for both EPI VI and VII.

An interpretation of Nien Nunb as a minifigure would be a great addition to any collection. A new updated version of Lando as well!

Admit it, you want a lego Komodo Dragon as much as I do. Sorry, if you mean that monster which began to eat R-2 D-2 in episode V, Ithink lots of fans would like creat it. Any of his pictures???
October 21, 20168 yr Both Rebel Hangers would be welcome, Yavin IV has the little transports, which I'm not sure Home One has, but both have various fuel tanks and scaffolding which is quite cool. I could see a tiny control panel being included to have members of Rebel High Command like Dodonna or Willard for Yavin IV or Mon Mothma, Madine or (hopefully not) Ackbar for Home One. It'd be cool to get a new Rebel Pilot or updated Biggs, ora Rebel Honour Guard with Yavin, although I expect Luke/Han to be included. Home One must have Lando and Nien Numb surely.

From the store calendar thingy here. I mis-read it, it's actually from 11th - 31st december https://mi-od-live-s.legocdn.com/r/www/r/stores/-/media/brand retail/stores/emea/newsletters/2016/181373 d2c shopper_toolbox_nov_dec2016_uk.pdf?l.r2=-390179607
October 21, 20168 yr The Rebel Hanger was listed as a RotJ set up until about a week ago when the latest batch of 2017 set details appeared, at which point the Episode VI tag was removed. If I had to speculate, I'd guess that... Spoiler ...a Home One hanger would overlap too closely to Episode VIII scenes rumored to appear in the hanger of a New Republic/Resistance capital ship... ...and a Yavin IV hanger makes a lot more sense given its appearance in Rogue One.
October 21, 20168 yr Does anyone else wishes this summer list was fake? None of the sets sound too interesting or memorable tbh, and no Rebels sets are the biggest dissapointment. I wish we could at least get 1 or 2 Rebels sets, maybe Maul's mandalorian ship Nightbrother with updated Maul, Zeb and Ezra minifigures.
October 21, 20168 yr Like someone else said previously, that likely wasn't the full list. Besides, I don't think LEGO would miss out on producing at least one Rebels set.

October 21, 20168 yr I really wanted to like Rebels. The first episode or two had a great tone, but it went downhill fast (unlike Clone Wars, which for the most part got better as it went on). From what I've read, it doesn't sound like Rebels will be on the air past 2017, so LEGO may be winding down its investment in the show. I have no interest in any of the Rebels sets, save the AT-DP, and only because it was a McQuarrie/Johnston design and the minifigs are cool. Edited October 21, 20168 yr by jdubbs
