Ramses25 The guys on the american continent have that system of exclusives and stuff, we don't so no worries, it will show up among the other sets at lego store when they are released. At least that has always been the case before in Sweden, would be surprised if it worked differently in France since lego usually have the same kind of policy and offers in Europe. Quote

In fact, if you look at the sail on the model, it's one stud plus two plates on either side wide... which is actually wider than two studs. There's also the issue that it has stickers on it, which I didn't even consider before. And since they dont put stickers over multiple pieces any more, it has to be a SNOT design. And, as I pointed out earlier, trying to use the small inverted arches like that would result in a pretty delicate end product. Quote
Deathstroke77 Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 So, looking at the rumours we had for the summer, it says there's a Vader Transformation set for 30 euros. How are they going to squeeze 30 euros worth of set out of that? Literally all that scene is is just pretty much a table with Vader strapped to it. The only way I can see them making that set sell for 30 euros is by putting both Vader and Palpatine in that set. Maybe even a burnt Anakin like from the old set. While I'm looking forward to this set, I don't really see how they're going to make a set for that kind of price out of such a small scene (in terms of spectacle/size) and hope to make it sell well. JDbricks Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 $30 seems fair to me. It'l probably be like the "carbon freezing chamber", have a quarter wall and floor, a table, Vader and Palpy, and a medical droid(s) Although, wasn't the freezing chamber $25 bucks? Like you said, it'l probably have have a little extra like a burnt Anakin to justify the price. Maybe it'l have two shock troopers and a stretcher from when they pick Anakin up from Mustufar, I can only dream. No matter if it's $30, I'm still really excited for it. Quote

It will def have Vader, Palpatine, anakin and a medical droid. I'm calling that now. And as for the Guavian set, my bet is we get Bala tik, 2 Guavians, one or two heroes from that scene, and a rathtar. They can't cheap out on the rathtar!! Quote
Cap Rex Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 (edited) I dont not understand why they do not like the phantom ll In my point of view is the most brilliant set Edited November 26, 2016 by Cap Rex Quote

If it has 4 figures count on it being $50+. No way they'd have 4 figures (3 being major characters) in such a cheap set. Especially for those of us who might have the Death Star or the Final Duel, the only real draw would be the Anakin minifigure (assuming it has one). Quote

It's accurate to the film, there seem to be 3 of each in Krennic's entourage. Quote
Ceroknight Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Y-Wing looks great! I wished the Thrawn figure was a little better but I guess I will be getting the Y-Wing and the Imperial Battle Pack Quote

Tariq j Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 I imagine much like the Carbonite Chamber there'll be a central lever which controls the medical table allowing it to flip over like the original version. Quote
jdubbs Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 The Carbonite Chamber (at the same price point) included 4 figures, if you count Han in Carbonite. So it's reasonable that the Vader Transformation set would as well, especially if there is less environment/structure in the playset. It seems reasonable it would include Palpatine, Vader, 2-1B, and Crispy Anakin. Quote

RetroInferno Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Took another peek at the Rebel trooper pack now that we a cleaner picture, and apparantly we don't get a single rebel trooper repeat from the fall wave. - Three brand new torso pieces. ( no recolor at all ) - A new headprint ( black bearded guy ), and another uncommon one ( ginger bearded guy, I think from Assault on Hoth ). The two other heads are the same used in the AT-ST and U-Wing sets. - Two recolor pair of legs ( 2 figs have a dark bley version of the U-Wing and Tie Striker models ) and the other a recolor of Pao's legs in beige and dark bley. The last pair of legs is a copy form the AT-ST rebel. The only dissapointing thing here are the helmets, no new recolor of the new molds and they are still using those ugly white over sized goggles. Still, very impressive amount of new stuff and not a lot of repeats! I think I'll go as far as buying two of them and mix and match the parts of the second one for variety. Quote

It's pretty nice that they're all new. Is there a link to the cleaner pictures or is that the one from a few days ago? I was hoping for an Endor-style helmet, but alas. I can't seem them changing the over-sized goggles to be honest. Smaller, more accurate ones would be lovely but they'd also be thinner and a lot more prone to breaking. If only Arealight could make some reasonably-sized ones for us AFOLs... Quote
RetroInferno Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 I went on Brickset where they've got images in a clear white background. And for one of the fig, the black soldier, you could swap out his legs for the guy wearing the brown ones, and he would be the same as the one from the AT-ST. Quote

It's still nice to get that head again as it's a good print. And like you said, there's a decent amount of variety with the figures. I really love that small speeder too, so it'll definitely be a battle pack to get multiples of. Quote
RetroInferno Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Ohh Snap :O I didn't realized that. The thing that interestst me most is the small terrain part, I'll probably scatter them around the Battle of Scariff see if they match together. Quote

ISDAvenger Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 It appears that Thrown is lacking red eyes, which is a gross negligence in my mind. That is what Thrawn is known for. Not cool...not cool at all. Not a whole lot I am interested in this line, probably pick a couple sets, but thats about it. Quote
Legofan2001 Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 Is it possible that the transformation set could include episode 3 shock troopers since they were in the scene? Also any rumors of the exclusive set for the summer holding out hope for cloud city Quote

That's intentional - the troopers in the shuttle set are 'specialists' which means they have the pauldrons, ammo pouches (?) and grenades, the ones in the battle pack are just regular troopers. This is convenient because Lego doesn't have to include the pauldrons cloths (although I would think they would be very cheap any way), and people who get multiple will have a good ratio of specialist to regular troopers Quote

Finger crossed for getting one soon. Quote
