Looks like I'll be picking up my first Sarlac pit and Awing!!! And what the heck is with the rat in the Landspeeder? Should that not be a Womprat

I'm a little sad there's no Nein Numb though :cry_sad:

I can't see myself getting any of these sets given I already have all the vehicles already from previous sets and there are no standout minifigs other than maybe Lando which I can live without.

If I buy the A-wing I'm going to have to buy the Y-wing.... Which will probably lead to me buying the U-wing..... And then a B-wing whenever they re-release one....

I guess TLG wanted to balance it out - since the last wave was so heavily Imperial, this wave will be mostly rebels. Bunker, Phantom, and battle packs for me. I already have A-wings, landspeeders, a skiff, and a Y-wing, so not particularly interested, although they look nice. I do want Moroff and Admiral Raddus, so if they're too expensive on Bricklink I may get the Y-wing, but hopefully not. It amazes me how little the landspeeder has changed - the one in the cantina and the one prior probably have all but 10 parts in common excluding color change. Are death gang and quadjumper part of the summer wave? Interested in those.

Well... I already knew this would be terrible choices of new sets so no surprises here, I'll maybe buy an A-wIng if it goes on sale, like at least 30 % below standard pricing. I'll also brick link the skiff guard and Han's hair... that's it

Images are up on TLG's servers:

Most important thing is that Thrawn has dark red eyes!

Exactly why I wasn't concerned. I knew TLG wouldn't screw it up.

However they did mess up the torso print for the rank pips...

Thrawn should have a square of six blue to the left. Then three yellow on the top right and three red on the bottom right. I'm not mad, I can live with the regular admiral pips as long as the head looks great which it does!

The A-Wing looks awesome! The curved parts and the new fins on the engines make it look even sleeker than before and I do prefer the push buttons to fire the missiles over the sliding cockpit from the Rebels version. Also great to see Lando in a set again and with a double sided face too this time!

The Desert Skiff looks pretty good too. Much more accurate colours and I like the inclusion of the railings. The nose seems a bit stubby but that could just be the angle of the photos. Glad to see we're also getting the Weequay Skiff Master this time instead of a repeat of the guard from the last Sailbarge as well as a ROTJ variant for Boba Fett.

Not that impressed by the Landspeeder. The curved tiles and R4 heads are a nice touch but ultimately its too similar to the last version which was available not that long ago and the minifigure lineup offers nothing new.

I'd expect the A-Wing to be $40 American, $50 Canadian. However that may be generous considering the A-Wing vs Darth Vader's TIE was $100.00 USD and the A-Wing was the larger model.

Liking the new A-Wing model regardless and will purchase it. However, I have the original General Calrissian minifigure and still looks superior to the new one. The slicked-back hair that Thrawn uses in black is much more accurate than Finn's hair as well. May just swap heads from the new to the old.

I'm in the process of gathering up every single image of the 2017 sets on TLG's servers, hold tight.

EDIT: http://imgur.com/a/B6W0F

I think the standout things for me are the ROTJ version of Boba Fett, as well as the amount of extra things included in the A-Wing.

What a fantastic wave of sets these are!

Thrawn definitely looks great. A shame the rank clip is not right.

Just saw a picture on Instagram of the boba fett. He is definitely new with new sandy printing. Probably will get that set even though at first I was going to.

The price of a 350 piece a-wing is concerning. Based on other star wars sets in that piece range, Australia will probably pay $60 to $70 for it, which for a ship that size is just unacceptable. Not a fan of the extra land vehicle crap they continue to insist on including to drive up the piece count either. Its a nice a-wing set, but there's no way I can justify buying it unless we see prices drop dramatically this year, even $50 would be a stretch for it.

Everything about the skiff is awful, unless you're in to minifigs. Actually looking at a comparison of the vehicle from the film to the sets, all the lego skiffs are awful, but this one, despite being the most accurate, seems to look the worst. Maybe the pictures are just unflattering. And what's up with that sarlac? Great pieces for the beak, and its great to see more than two tentacles, but the base itself is just... why?

Turns out Qui-Gon has a new face print:

The grey highlights in the beard are a nice touch but I'm disapointed that of the three characters it was Qui-Gon that ended up being updated when he didn't really need it.

Qui-Gon's new alternate head is awesome.  I guess that's as close as we'll get to the x-eyed face he had in the first LEGO Star Wars game.

A-wing with Lando is great looking set! As someone who doesn't have Lando minifigure, I have to get this set, even though I have 2016 A-wing. It's strange that Lego decided to make another A-wing half year after the previous model, and differences are pretty minor.

Desert Skiff looks good as well and build is superb here! Minifigures are good, but nothing outstanding, except for Han's new hair in 30$ set. It is 30$ set?

Landspeeder is the same as 2014 Cantina one, which I don't have, so another must buy for me. Nothing outstanding about either build or minifigures and it seems to be 20$ set.

Im honestly getting really excited about the A-wing! Its always been my favorite ship just for it's size and shape. I will also be very happy buying Luke's landspeeder mainly for Obi-wan. The desert skiff is an okay set. I will have to consider that one fore sure. but with no doubt I will be buy-in that Han Solo.
