I quite like Scariff bunker but: (Rogue One Spoilers)

It pretty has all the wrong minifigures? Cassian and Jyn don't do any actual fighting on the ground in Scariff and Cassian is suppose to be in an Imperial Officer uniform. The actual scene that's suppose to take place here is Baze, Chirrut, 2 Republic troopers and a squad of death troopers.

Was the winter 2017 sets on sale when you saw them in the store?

BR has the same 30 % sale on all lego here in norway, but it looks like they are holding back the new SW sets. Some stores may however not understand the difference, and put them all on sale... Im tempted to check out the 4 closest BR stores just to see...

30 % on brand new sets is a very good deal...

Maybe they do that on purpose to avoid spoiling the movie?

Saw rogue one today. Long story short, it was absolutely amazing and did things I never expected a star wars film to do. I saw 3 things that could be made into future sets, but only one of them was in the trailers.

I'm wondering, am I the only one who's really happy with the new Phantom? I don't really watch Rebels at all, but I've seen a few images of the new Phantom, and I think LEGO did a great job - it's a somewhat compact ship, not too huge, and I think they got the colour schemes more or less spot on, as well as the shape. It has a few nice features, I'm still curious as to how the spring-loaded shooters are activated (for those who have it/know, don't tell me! I want to leave it a mystery for when I build it), a neat little area for Chopper to reside, a well-integrated landing mechanism and a cosy storage area in the back, and some of those Thermal Detonator pieces (I've been dying to get my hands on one for a while now).

I also think it'll be a great, collectible, extremely expensive set once it retires - the first Phantom has already more than doubled in price, and that doesn't have any really desirable figs in it - the new one obviously has Thrawn and also Blind Kanan (who I believe, for the time being at least, is exclusive to this set), two figs, especially the former, I see being very collectible and desirable after it retires. The ship itself I think at least is very cool, so its not like one of those sets where you get it just for the minifigs (I see Duel of the Fates being one of those).

I've rambled a bit, but I'm curious as to whether I'm the only one who really likes the design of the ship itself - most people seem to be trashing it, as far as I've seen. And I haven't even built it yet! Can't wait for when it finally arrives, I'm hoping Monday but I can see myself getting it maybe Wednesday.

New Phantom looks great to me, but scale is way off! Previous Separatist Shuttle had a better scale than this one, I wounder why Lego didn't just upgrade and slightly remade old one? Btw new Phantom looks awful on Ghost, old one looked so much better when 2 are combined!

Btw if anyone has already bought new A-Wing set with Lando can you post some pics? Would really appreciate it so it can be compared to 2016 one.

How big is it meant to be? From what I've seen its scale is relatively accurate, but then again, I don't watch the show.

Last version of Separarist Shuttle from 2010 or 2011 scale was a lot better and bigger.

I see. At first I was confused but after googling ths ship it seems The Phantom is pretty much a Seperatist Shuttle with a paint job.

Admittedly, I think the old one is better designed in shape and a little better in scale, but the new one definitely isn't bad at all. A little out, in contrast to the old shuttle, but it's still a neat ship and relatively accurate.

The new A-Wing does really look very well designed. And the small vehicle and the new crew member are nice additions, too. But for 50 Euros it's imo really overpriced!

It's very disappointing to see that there won't be any regular sold OT set in summer (apart from perhaps the bounty hunter set) - and that although it's the thirties anniversary of ANH!  So I really hope for at least one brilliant huge Exclusive in summer (like e. g. a new Tantive 4 which is since long overdue)!

Is the rumoured Rebel Hangar not an OT set? Granted, it's not from A New Hope, but it's still an OT set nonetheless.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the Rebel Hangar turned out to be the A-Wing (because of the same minifigs listed (in the frontpage)).

This one is weird because the figures listed for the Rebel Hangar are definitely the ones that ended up being the A-Wing set, but the set number 75179 doesn't fit the A-Wing, so there might be a second set there. It might even be a Rogue One set!

Speaking of set numbers, 2017 has many that have no set yet. In 2016, there's only a small gap between winter and summer wave (75143 and 75144 are missing), the rest of the numbers are in direct succession. Compare that to 2017 where the summer wave will have 75178, 75179, 75180, 75182, 75183, 75185, 75186 and 75191. That's six possibilities for additional sets, some of which will be filled by exclusives and UCS sets for sure.

Well in Ireland, all of the 2017 Lego Star Wars sets are available to buy in Smyths and Argos now.

The Phantom 2.0 set is available to buy in my local Smyths in Dublin for nearly 40 Euro.

You can fit ships but they dont belong on the platform. I think I'll add 2 more of set so it looks more realistic for a battle scene.

Build it today, but found it really underwhelming. The colors look cool and it's figs are okay but the top wing looks unfinished. Don't like the underside of the craft.. It's all so messy.

Well, yes you probably right, but I didn't have the energy or the time to check every BR in stockholm, that would take the whole day and would never be worth the time or transport money to do so. But I got a great deal anyway, I got the A-wing fighter pilot, the gingerbread man and the snow globe as bonus! So if you count the money of them separately, I basically got the Y-Wing at half price!

After seeing the movie today I really hope to get some more alien rebels!

Wait, isn't it suppose to be (Spoilers) Rebel soldiers that are in the scene?

I believe the Scarif Bunker is based on a previous edit of the film which was quite different. I won't go into details but previous trailer footage and the Celebration reel showed different scenes filmed.
