It could be the most beautiful rendition of a snowspeeder ever but I still wouldn't buy it. I'm just more into Imperial tech myself...

Definitely! Lego hasn't  released a decent UCS since the Slave 1. While some may be excited for the chance to own a set that has been retired for some time, I find the lack of creativity from the TLG to be well.....boring! Easy pass for me unless there will be a steep discount. This could flop like the B Wing and the Hoth Playset.

Seriously it is just ridiculous seeing all this BS over rehash this and rehash that. Take a look at the Snowspeeders in ESB, then look at 10129 and 75144, which one looks more like the Snowspeeder in ESB? And if you really need it on r/lego there is a comparison between the two. But this moaning will continue so at least for those who have the sense to see this as an improvement (and the money ) we'll be able to own one.

Anyways now that my little rant is over, I must say that TLG couldn't have executed this any better. Just looking at it the improvements are massive, they fixed pretty much every aesthetic problem like the front which I'm so glad they are hinging those two panels that connect the front one to the wings, also the cockpit which very accurately shaped, and the improcements serm to continue. I was at first having skepticism regarding this but now I will definitely be getting it plus as a bonus I can get the may the fourth promo and it will be a great birthday gift to myself.

Looks decent. Really strange that they are still using white for what like the dozenth time? Usually Lego colours are only close enough or pretty close to what they're representing, but LBG is basically dead on. Extremely puzzling. A shame because if it was grey I would be more interested in buying it

I stand corrected, forget about the Slave 1. B Wing though? Has such a horrible resale ended up going on sale at Lego for 50% off. I bought it and then sold it a few months later. That being said that B Wing has an interesting back story. I built it when I was deployed to Afghanistan making it probably the only B Wing to be shipped, built, and displayed there. 

Anyhoo. Look forward to the next UCS unveiling. Maybe the Finalizer.

Don't know if you guys saw it, but this picture from the set of TLJ was uploaded by rian johnson. looks like the stormies now have a thinner frown. Do you think we'll see these changes reflected in this year's first order battle pack?

Oooo, I like those. 

Although, I doubt LEGO will change anything.

There's no reason to change the minifigures. That alteration is so minimal no one would even notice it on a minifigure's helmet.

I really like the look of the new snowspeeder, but not quite enough to buy, since I usually collect minifig scale sets. (Slave 1 still favorite UCS to date!)

But why did they have to go and change the helmets? They looked better before the change in my opinion...

I really like the Snowspeeder as well. It's the first Starwars I got excited about in a long time haha

The Snowspeeder is pretty accurate compared to the source material. The comments that say otherwise remind me of the 2/10 meme.

Really the snowspeeder is the most accurate UCS set in a long time. Looking back through them, I mean the TIE is a pretty awful attempt at a sphere, the Slave I isn't terrible unless you look at any of the dark red parts, actually the Sandcrawler's perfectly fine I just find it boring, Red Five is probably the worst of the newer UCS sets, being entirely the wrong shape. The B-wing was really the last good looking UCS set IMO.

Snowspeeder looks good to me! Considering how long it's been since the first UCS version I don't mind that this is a remake.

I have the old one, but I will buy this as well.

I do find it amusing at the number of people complaining about a rehash of the Snowspeeder, and how many of them are probably going on and on about how they should re-release the Falcon. You can't moan about Lego redoing something whilst you're moaning they haven't redone something else. 

Personally, this isn't one I'll buy. It looks like a great representation, but it isn't something I feel the need to display. If I'm not having it on display, I don't really see the point in spending so much on it. 

I'll get this one for sure. And regarding comments about lack of battle damage, too clean and so on. All vehicles were new from factory at some point, consider this one as a newly delivered speeder for the Rebel fleet

I found a MOC of the upcoming Darth Vader Transformation set. It seems pretty accurate compared to the actual set. Can I post the link here or is that classified as a leaked image?

I understand it if the mods don't want me to post it here, so I thought I better double check.

If they are different, that is a subtle difference, Lego definitely won't make changes for such a small design difference. And tbh even in OT Stormtroopers had a slight design difference in each of the films, so it's nothing special.

The difference is that the Falcon is the single most iconic SW vehicle, while the Snowspeeder is one among many. I guess rehashes of the Y-Wing, Star Destroyer, or Rebel Blockade Runner would have made more sense to me simply because they look better!

It's really a well done UCS, it's just weird they would go with that subject.

Well it looks like Poe is still wearing his X-Wing pilot suit, Finn is still wearing Poe's jacket(wasn't it damaged by Kylo Ren?) but he now has white undershirt. Rey's look definitely looks more updated : new hair style, new outfit? Can't wait to see them as minifigures!

Yea the bros look pretty much the same but Rey looks more updated and I'm so glad she let her hair down,I was not a fan of the 3 buns.

Rey looks way more mature, which is a good thing. Nice boxart!
