New trailer is up, please don't speculate here in this thread.

Not sure if you guys recall but as I'm sitting there going through TLJ panel and they introduce the new character Rose. I'm pretty certain that she was actually one of the ones we saw a while back with the leaked figures, she was in the background of it from Toy Fair or something. Anyways its good to be able to put the name to the figure 

So now we have got confirmation that this figure in the back is Rose.

Does this mean TLJ boxes will have red SW lettering? I wonder if they used the original ROJ poster as inspiration for that.

CM4Sci about the speeders in The Last Jedi trailer. His area of expertise is Lego, so this could hint at a C-wing Lego set.

So trailer confirmed new Gorilla AT-AT another great possibility for a September set ?

Never really confirmed Gorilla AT-AT, but definitely some sort of walker.

Any thing is a possibility of a set, but I don't know if they would do this walker. We didn't get the AT-ACT. I think that there is going to be some FO vehicle sets though.

It's obviously going to be a set now that you finger cross it and you have seen all of the sets!

Well that part of the movie could be toward the end, so he could ride his x wing for part of episode 8.

I didn't say they should redo it. I really don't want another Poe's x wing. A lot of other sets they could do then make a redo of a set that was released not too long ago

Look at the crazy prices that some of the Polybag characters sell for. The 10221 SSD can't be compared to MF. MF (and Cloud City) have such a legendary status that not many other sets can match. I think you may need to do some research in terms of MF prices because $800 is no where near what it sells for. A bricklinked one sells for around $1200. A boxed one sells for a lot more. There is a reason why the prices are that high. After all if there was no demand the prices would have crashed long ago. Reasons why a UCS MF is highly likely to sell very well?

• Current huge hype
• Who would want to miss the chance on a set that is not likely to be re-releassed again for a good 10 years or never
• The huge popularity of Lego now compared to 10 years ago
• The huge popularity of auction site compared to 10 years ago
• The resurrection of Star Wars franchise
• The huge increasse in number of people that buy to profit in the future

There's some great potential for sets in that trailer, looking forward to seeing what LEGO whip up for us.

i thought it weird they didn't do an AT-AT for E7 so definitely looking forward to one if that proves true.

re: the E8 trailer- what's the ship that smokescreens red along the desert-type planet? Any chance it's an important enough ship to warrant a lego set?

Helicarrier is not a UCS set and has no UCS logo simply because it isn't a Star Wars set. (It may have a similar sticker, but that is irrelevant.) Ultimate Collector Series is a Star Wars thing.
