Actually, the set description only states Thrawn as 'Admiral Thrawn' which means he hasn't been promoted yet. It could have been deliberately done by Lego. However, I'm with all the rest of you guys, I want the insignia changed.

My source seems legit and if you compare it to the uk prices it doesn't seem that far fetched. And uk sets are out, I've got the battle lacks and duel on naboo.

There might be some truth to this rumours about the new falcon because Brickset removed the entry for Snowspeeder just recently. It's now back to unknown {?}.

I mean, if we are going to have a FO BP, it would be logical that the bounty hunters were random characters from the Maz Kanata's cantina.

I realize I'm arriving late, but I really want that UCS Falcon rumor to be true. Granted, I passed on the previous one because it was out of my budget and because it lacked an interior. However, given how iconic it is now to me, and how insane the demand is, I might consider biting the bullet.

I hope it's true... but it would depend on the set's merits and price to determine whether or not I get that or 75159.

We still don't know about summer retail exclusive sets, right? So maybe it's Rebels based? Season 3 midseason trailer shows so much potential for sets, and instead we get Freemakers sets(which nobody asked for)! I really hope there still more Rebels sets to come , since show is introducing so many interesting vehicles and characters.

i will surely but a reissue of the falcon cause i dont own the firts one, but if it's 600 euro and comes with that silly non-canopy from ten years ago i will feel a bit cheated.

I wonder if the proliferation of Lepin UCS falcons will force LEGO to issue an updated version, just to diferentiate it from the copies of it's old discontinued set. It would be shooting yourself in the foot to issue it as it was when the copies have already been around for months at probably a fifth of the Lego price. It would be nice if it was the knock offs that made Lego produce the updated and detailed set we all want!

Anyone notice how much shorter the Republic Fighter Tank is going to be? I'm guestimating (blur factor maximum) but from the leaks it looks like it's about 18, maybe 20 studs long total. Set 7679 from 2008 was apparently 47.8 cm long, have no idea what that is in studs, but longer for sure.

EDIT: Just found a pic of Lego's 8087 from 2010. http://brickset.com/sets/8087-1/TIE-Defender Not sure why but I can't stand the look of this ship. If they re-issue, it should be easy enough to MOD it into an Interceptor.

Using the shadow logic, there are silhouettes of TIE fighers on the right hand side of the Death Star box. Does this mean that there will be a new UCS TIE Fighter, too, even though we've only just had one?

The way the Falcon is placed is it looks like it "follows" the Death Star, which means to me that it is the set which "follows" 75159.

I was shocked when I saw how many lepin falcon sets have been sold on ebay. We are talking about resellers but those numbers seems to be peanuts compared to knock-off sales. If lego just reissue falcon lepin is day one ready so I'm pretty shure that lego will make changes if not for any other reason then to delay having copies on the market.

But sooner or later, Lepin copies will appear unless something is done about them.
