benderisgreat Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Maybe it'll be a small set. How can they fit that scene into a small, $20-$30 set.. The same as they did with Carbon Freezing Chamber I suppose. Scale it down a bit to final part of the duel with plasma shaft and laser grid as build. Quote

Forresto Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Wasnt the folding thing in the carbon freezing chamber set supposed to be the torture bed Vader put Han on? Quote
Nokturn Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Wasnt the folding thing in the carbon freezing chamber set supposed to be the torture bed Vader put Han on? Not quite. It was supposed to be the bed in Han's holding cell. (The location where he punches Lando) I feel like I'm the only one who appreciates the inclusion of that feature. Pulp Detective Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 The Thawn set doesn't have to be expensive. Lego included desirable figures in cheap sets before due to the lackluster build and/or low "want feature" of the set. It can basically go either way so be prepared regardless. For me it's hard to imagine having Thrawn in a cheap set.But I guess we'll have to wait and see. Quote
RetroInferno Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Don't forget pointless folding plate thing! *snip* Han's face expression pretty much sums up the feature too. Mix of anxiety and perplexity, love it. By the way, did Sir von lego confirmed stormies and death troopers only for the imperial bp? Edited August 11, 2016 by Lobot : Please don't quote images, thanks :-) Quote

Sir von Lego Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Duel of the fates is 29.99 EUR. It is one of the 4 to be released "basic" sets we will see soon. There will indeed only be 2 battle packs (the two from Rogue One). 4 Microfighters, all from Rogue One as well. And many exciting things more to come.. Quote
benderisgreat Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Duel of the fates is 29.99 EUR. It is one of the 4 to be released "basic" sets we will see soon. Now 3 minifigures makes sense! Thanks for clarifying. Btw can you reveal names of remaining 3 basic sets? Quote
Legofan2001 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Of course no padme why does lego hate padme so much Duel of the fates is 29.99 EUR. If four of the microfighters are for RO than I guess that means the other two will be Rebels. That's about the price I expected for Duel of the Fates. I look forward to hearing more. Quote
Sir von Lego Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 There will only be two, not 4. Rebel battle pack and Empire Battle Pack from Rogue One. Quote

BrickJagger Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Duel of the fates will include Darth Maul, Qui Gon and Joung Obi Wan. We will see as a basic vehicle (29.99 EUR) a green Jedi Interceptor. Another one will be the landspeeder including C-3PO, Obi Wan, Luke and a Tusken. The fourth... will have to think about it, don't remember. We will get a rebels ship, looks to me like the phantom but a little bit sleeker (like a phantom 2.0). Minifigs Chopper, Kanan and more (not visible). 49.99 EUR Desert Skiff will be 39.99 EUR, with Boba and 2 or 3 more minifigs. 2 big Rogue One Sets, one middle priced will be out as well, 39.99, 59.99 and 69.99. Two minutes later.... These all sound good, especially the fact that the Tusken is showing up in a set that I actually want. That Skiff better have something else with it, it's twice as expensive as the last if I recall correctly. Do you have anything for other themes? Quote
TheNerdyOne_ Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 We will see as a basic vehicle (29.99 EUR) a green Jedi Interceptor. Hopefully either Yoda's or Saesee Tiin's, would kinda suck to get Anakin's again. We will get a rebels ship, looks to me like the phantom but a little bit sleeker (like a phantom 2.0). Minifigs Chopper, Kanan and more (not visible). 49.99 EUR Sounds like the it could be the Phantom's replacement from season 3. Seems like a pretty steep price point though, considering it's the same size. Hope they don't make it a lot bigger than the Phantom was, would be nice if it fit with the Ghost as well. Quote
Legoman123 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 The 4th one I should imagine is Yoda's hut? Quote

benderisgreat Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Another Jedi Interceptor? Wow 2 years in a row, well I hope this new version will be a recolor of 2014 one and not 2016. Obviously 4th regular set is Yodas hut. Really excited for Luke's Landspeeder since I never had it! And Rebels ship sounds cool. But only 2 Battlepacks?! Why , did Lego run out of ideas or something? I guess this means 2016 Battlepacks will stay longer than usual. Quote
BrickJagger Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 But only 2 Battlepacks?! Why , did Lego run out of ideas or something? I guess this means 2016 Battlepacks will stay longer than usual. This year two battlepacks (The movie related ones) came out in January, and two more came out in March. It could be the same for next year. Quote
benderisgreat Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 This year two battlepacks (The movie related ones) came out in January, and two more came out in March. It could be the same for next year. In Europe they both came out in January, and in USA the only reason they came in 2 waves were problems on factory if I recall correctly. So I guess that in 2017 Lego will only make 2 instead of 4 unfortunately. Here's hoping they deliver... Quote
wesker Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Duel of the fates will include Darth Maul, Qui Gon and Joung Obi Wan. Do you know if Obi-Wan will be updated with a proper Padawan hairpiece this time? Or is he just the same minifigure as before? Quote
HawkLord Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Do you know if Obi-Wan will be updated with a proper Padawan hairpiece this time? Or is he just the same minifigure as before? I'd be really happy with an updated hair for Obi-Wan. I'd also be happy if Qui-Gon had the hair back look like the Elves from LOTR/Hobbit. Quote
Sir von Lego Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 The minifigs were only "prototypes"...)-; thers are no new sets SW in March. This list we got on page one is the first half of 2017. Was expecting more BP as well... Quote
