I believe the Clone is based on this figure from Hasbro. I don't think it was ever shown in the movie, but it's an AT-TE Tank Gunner from Revenge of the Sith. The printing on the figure seems to match the pauldron in the action figure.

After seeing the winter / force friday wave I can tell you guys one thing: you're in for a treat ;)

And no, just as Sir von Lego I will tell nothing more.

As for the tank: really good looking! Gonna need a few of those.

Omg! First look at TLJ minifigures! Resistance fighter looks like a more detailed version of Battlepack one, and possibly Kelly Marie Trant character looks great, and is there a FO officer to the left? Ps Guavians head looks really good and Freemakers have new suits( who cares?).

Could the droid be from the Vader set. It doesn't look the same, but it might be. My guess is no, but figured I'd throw it out there. Also the guvian death gang looks great. They have excellent molds and printing, but is it just me or they an orange-brown? In the movie they were more of a crimson red. I'm not really that worried though, as on the prelims they seemed to be that red. Still kind of weird. Maybe I'm just color blind

I believe the droid is indeed from the Vader set. It appears in the prototype images. Weird that it's not labeled as a figure though.

90% sure that's supposed to be the same 2-1B droid we've gotten before.  The only other droid in the room was a tripod, so unless they made up a droid for no reason it's probably the 2-1B.  Which would mean that the droid in the new images must indeed be from an Ep 8 set.

So far out of the summer wave the only things I feel compelled to buy are the Bounty Hunter and FO battlepacks, and the new Republic Tank. Seeing that tank brings back a lot of memories of old Star Wars video games (It isn't even a canon vehicle right now is it?) The Battlepacks sound good. Maybe I will get the Rathtar set just to get an older Han Solo figure.

- The dark red on the gang members really looks metallic. Is this a new colour or just the light?
- Rey indeed is the same figure. Still wonder why they didn't change the light grey into tan.

It's a metallic color without a doubt.

Not to be greedy but I hope at least one of the Guavians gets Metallic Dark Red dual molded arms for black gauntlets. The metallic worries me a little, aren't metallic plastics weaker then standard lego plastic?

Holy smokes!! That Guavian looks INCREDIBLE. TLG really, really nailed it!! Wonderful sculpt of the head... this one will really stand out on the shelf.

Incredible, also, to see a very, very early sneak peek of anything Episode 8 related.

Nice find!

Based on the new pictures I think the figure in the Republic Tank is a Phase II variant of this Phase I figure.

Yes! And the pic of the tank is so cool, really large, definitely prefer over Vader transformation at their prices. The white stud shooters on the side can easily be modded off.

The Guavian looks good, but the head color is ridiculous.

Thanks for all the pics everyone!

In Hungary they're available in the brand stores in Budapest after a certain amount of purchase of Star Wars set(s).

Some very little information for those of you who are interested in R3-M2 (40286 polybag):

Today I talked to one of the employees in the Lego brand store in Budapest, I asked her what other polybags will come as R3-M2 seems to be the first part of a series. She said that all she knows is that it will be 3 of them all together and the promotion of this first one might end in February.

I think it's just the light. If that's the case then all the others in the front row look metallic too, particularly Rey.
