Agent Kallus Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Thrawn's torso was white Was there really any doubt? Quote
Sneakguest Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I actually wrote TLG a long letter just a few minutes ago complaining how lazy and boring they become lately, that's even better if more of us did then refusal to buy or silent wining... Quote
Knight of Ren Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 (edited) Was there really any doubt? Yes, since apparently imperial officers in Rebels wear dark tan uniforms. Edited September 9, 2016 by Knight of Ren Quote
Pulp Detective Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Yes, since apparently imperial officers in Rebels wear dark tan uniforms. In the season 3 trailer for Rebels,Thrawn was wearing a white uniform. It's no brainer that his minifig form will be the same. Quote
x105Black Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 What's frustrating not having a Bantha is that 75148 included the Luggabeast... and Luggabest is not important in episode 7 story development at all... and yet it is in a set. But here we are wishing for a Bantha and we ain't got any Bantha.... If the Bantha is going to be at the quality of the Luggabeast (brick-built in the wrong colors), then I'd rather not have it at all. Quote
Legoman123 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Sorry but what does IMP stand for? Quote

Moshaka Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I actually wrote TLG a long letter just a few minutes ago complaining how lazy and boring they become lately, that's even better if more of us did then refusal to buy or silent wining... Lego hasn't been lazy if anything they've been updating sets in quality and playibility, you should also remember legos is meant for kids. Recent legos sets I like are the Clone Turbo Tank, TFA sets, and A-Wing vs TIe advanced are all great sets and they great designs. Quote

A letter or email? What address did you use? I've spent so much money on Lego I feel like I can give them some advice. Quote
JPN366 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Maybe since we are getting a new desert skiff, then maybe an updated Jabba sailbarge or updated Jabba's palace is in the cards for 2018? Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Maybe since we are getting a new desert skiff, then maybe an updated Jabba sailbarge or updated Jabba's palace is in the cards for 2018? We just got both of those like 3-4 years ago.. maybe another 5 years and then we'll see. Quote
Borex Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 (edited) I don't know why but all these new sets (except for rogue one) seem so random. Just like last year. That carbonfreezing thing made us think/hope we would have ended up with more bespin and we didn't. It's cool we can finally get a Thrawn though. Edited September 9, 2016 by Borex Quote
Forresto Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Nom consequential but im curious if Thrawns new style epaulettes will be printed on or a neckwear mold. Considering theyre not the braided kind that go to the shoulder but rather bars, im leaning towards printing Quote

Sir Gareth Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Could someone capable of doing so, please, remove the debunked Yoda's Hut rumor from the OP? Quote

Recent legos sets I like are the Clone Turbo Tank, TFA sets, and A-Wing vs TIe advanced are all great sets and they great designs. Well if more than half is not good, is that good enough to call yourself the world most popular toy brand? I think not... Besides, it's not only me complaining it's my daughter as well, and she's only two, how bad aren't they then? A letter or email? What address did you use? I've spent so much money on Lego I feel like I can give them some advice. Just through there normal customer service formula: https://wwwsecure.us.lego.com/en-us/service?domainredir=wwwsecure.lego.com although if they don't reply I will write a normal letter instead, is usually more powerful. Net time, I will come up with something better, my daughter has astma and is hyperventilating when she sees a bad Star Wars lego set Quote
strider117 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Obviously 4th regular set is Yodas hut. And Rebels ship sounds cool. But only 2 Battlepacks?! Why , did Lego run out of ideas or something? I guess this means 2016 Battlepacks will stay longer than usual. The 4th set is not Yoda's hut. It only comes with only R2-D2 and Joda, it would be very odd to be the hut and not come with Luke. I'ts Yoda's interceptor (yes, the stupid-looking one- http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/c/c7/Yodas_Jedi_Starfighter.png ). Also I'm quite excited about the Rebels ship too. Than one will come with Blindfolded Kanan, Chopper and Grand Admiral Thrawn. The battlepacks, which will be imperial and rebel battle packs from Rogue One also look good. These is what I've picked up on youtube and some other sites so not rock solid info, Sir Von Lego might be right. Nonetheless should be a very exciting year :) Quote
Brickweiser Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 In the season 3 trailer for Rebels,Thrawn was wearing a white uniform. It's no brainer that his minifig form will be the same. I would have assumed it would be white but then again: Agent Kallus wears a grey uniform under bluish-grey battle armour whereas his Lego figure is black and silver The imperial officers are grey, whereas their Lego figures are dark tan. TitanArch Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 (edited) Seems like someone tought Saw Guerrera was Lando on the prelims! Or it's a Target exclusive... Is it possible that the "Lando set" is from Rebels? Something including Zeb and/or Azmorigan and a sabbac table scene? We get Lando, but not a classic version. It's happened with a few of the Rebels sets, and the new AT-ST. edit: duplication and spelling Edited September 10, 2016 by TitanArch Quote
Forresto Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Edit: I just realized why Lego is probably doing the skiff and landspeeder. Both feature recently reworked characters from the latest Death Star implement new molding or printing that are now sortve cheaper for those who dont buy the DSUCS. I wouldnt call Lego lazy exactly but the design team is getting a little uncreative with design choices. Duel of the Fates amazing, its something different, mew landspeeder? Throw it in with the other dozen. Its annoying. Is Yoda's starfighter not the weird proportions of the show's version? If not that's highly dissapointing and definitely a lazy design choice. Quote
nikhkin Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Maybe since we are getting a new desert skiff, then maybe an updated Jabba sailbarge or updated Jabba's palace is in the cards for 2018? A major issue with that is Disney killing off any merchandise for Slave Leia. Those sets would be incomplete without Leia (the palace could have her disguised, but not the barge). Quote
BrickLord123 Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 I have a feeling that the leaked pictures will be leaked soon. For the last 2 years, in the winter wave, the sets were leaked on the weekend after we got descriptions. Its probably just coincidence though. Quote
Darth Shadowthrone Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 There doesn't seem to be any information on them yet, but does anyone know if we'll get two non-R1 battlepacks this wave? Just wondering as TLG have produced four battlepacks every years since 2014 and its always nice to see more troop variations (although hopefully Lego have exhausted their options for clone variants by now). I can see that the land speeder will use the tatooine Luke and Obi-Wan (neither of which are new) but I'd guess the skiff will probably use the carbon freezing Han. I'd have thought the only new piece in common with the Death Star will be Han's hair. Quote
